so this girl i havent talked to since HS hit me up the other day...talkin to her for a couple days and she said somethin about "well this guy im 'seeing' blah blah blah" so i figure, ok, she put "seeing" in the "" marks so something must be not right...well she came over thursday night...watched a couple movies and we were talkin and she said somethin about he doesnt want to be with her, but wants to be friends with benifits or whatnot...so we watched some movies, did the whole cuddle/hold hands thing...you know...takin it slow since i havent talked to her in 4 1/2 years...friday night, her friend calls me, askin all the "i wont tell her, but...." questions...so shes askin if im gonna ask her out and whatnot and i said well see what happens...

well sat, i talked to her, told her a couple friends asked if we wanted to go out with them, she said maybe, and i told her id call her later to see whats up...so i called, and some guy answers the phone and said she wasnt there "right now"...so im thinkin maybe she went on break and its the guy at the desk next to her...so i started textin her

me: hey give me a call when you get this
her (i thought): cant at work
me: oh ok...some guy answered and i didnt know if you left your phone somewhere
"her": yea she did, this is brent (the guy she's 'seeing') shes coming over later to get it
me: ok have her call me when she comes over
him: alright, and who are you? i know youre evan, how do you know her
me: i know her from HS, i havent talked to her in a few years till she hit me up the other day
him: she called you? are you sure man? wait till i talk to her
me: why whats the big deal
him: i cant believe her because we are together
me: um ok, have her give me a call when she gets her phone
him: no

few minutes later, after thinking of what her friend was askin me the night before i asked him

me: so if you two are 'together' whys her friend askin if im gonna ask her out and ****...im sure her friend knows you 2 are 'together'
him: oh we are, she knows she thought it was wierd you calling her and stuff, i mean, with all the bull**** that happened between you 2 in HS
me: man she hit me up, not like i called her
him: she is nice like that...she likes to be friends with people
me : yea she sure is friendly... (not tellin him she was in my bed 2 nights before)
him: yea she is i like her a lot
me: whatever, have her give me a call, ok? bye

well, later that night, i get a text from her "hey i heard you called sorry for everything"

so im like yea what the hell was that all about...shes like "im at his house, ill tell you later"

so im like whatever...get home and theres a message on my computer sayin somethin like "hey i went to get my phone and he decided that we are going to be together...sorry about him, hes being a dick lately to any guy who even looks at me"

so at this point im thinking 1) he decided that? isnt that a 2 person decision and 2) if hes bein such a dick about small ****, why do you want to be with him

so she called me tonight and of course, i was mildly pissed off and she was like "whats wrong, we cant be friends and hang out and stuff"

what the hell...whys it always the whole "friend" deal...startin to really piss me off...you know, think there might be somethin there, and POW...some **** like this

It sounds like this chick is WAY messed up. She comes around to you a few years after you two were virtually enemies. She's fooling around on the side behind the back of her controlling boyfriend. This sounds like trouble, big time. Part of me agrees with Ilanpro, hit it, have some fun, and then, "drop it like you own it". Another part of me would want no part with this drama.

There are a million fish in the sea and many aren't worth keeping around. Don't get discouraged, I hate the "**** those *****es" attitude. Don't get hung up on them, and a great gal just might come by when you least expect her to.

i guess that sums it up...as for the coming back after a few years, i was pretty suprised...she came at me like "hey sexy havent talked to you in a while, blah blah blah" so i figured id give it a shot, see whats goin on...she said she wasnt even going out with him when i was talking to her, until he decided 'they would be together' saturday night...not so much that im hanging myself up on this one girl, but it seems to be a trend...pisses me off

Dude! Your first mistake was not pulling out your shlong when you had her alone. Wrong wrong wrong! Let me tell you something about this "taking it slow" bull****: while you are taking it slow, the next man is taking it fast and getting her clothes off. Trust me. As a matter of fact, I know of a situation where a guy waited for 2 YEARS with his girl for her to be ready and give up her virginity. Sigh....leave her and move on. She's out for something, that's for sure, but I think it's more along the lines of "I have to get the current boyfriend jealous" and I'm sure there is some reading between the lines of what she is thinking/attempting to do as well.
