I just talked to him, he rearended someone that was trying to make a rediculous turn. He's at the hospital now and he said he is ok. From the text message and talking to him, he said it was totalled.

yeah, car is f'ed. im suprised pic came out that good from my g/fs phone..

i didnt REAR END the guy..the white GP in the back of the picture, he was coming out of that street. its a 5 lane road, 2 NB, 2 SB, and a lane for both directions to turn. traffic was stopped from a light about 70 yards up, and the 2 lanes of NB traffic stopped enough for him to get out...my turn was up about 30 yards, so i got into the turn lane, passing the stopped traffic, and BAM!. i mean, his truck got hit from the wheel forward, so it shows how quick i was able to see him. there was no avoiding it

he got cited for the accident, has insurance (state farm, same as me), so finally, for once, im in the clear...feels pretty good.

antifreeze was all over the road, the drivers door is a little hard to open (fender pushed back a bit), im pretty sure itll be totalled out

ive got a sore neck, lower back, and a bunch of flexeril, vicodin, and ibprofuren 600's.

oh...and i was actually on my way to get my g/f...this was right infront of her work. she walked the 30 feet over to me. since we both worked til 6, i drove today and was on my way to pick her up and head home

the doc's yesterday said that i would be hurting more today and tomorrow than i was yesterday, and they were right. my neck hurts so f'n bad today. already started with the ibprofuren 600's

im not gonna get it towed home...theres not much in there im worried about. i went last night, got some of the stuff out i needed, phone charger, earphones (since i had my ipod plugged in and they were on the seat), few papers, cd player face (who would steal the player without the face, right?), had my amp in my trunk from a while ago...no subs in there, no speakers, nothing of value...it just sucks because i asked the FF to roll up my windows incase it rained, and they had the mentality like..."its totalled, who cares if it rains?"

im gonna run up in a bit once i eat some breakfast and get some pictures and get the rest of my stuff out of the car

thats bull! When my car was getting taken away they did the same thing and thats why my sri was stolen and some ground wires. Some people are a-holes for no reason. Even if its totatled the owner may want to buy it back to use the parts and stuff.

pics i got when i went to the tow yard today...looks like IM is close to smashed into the friewall, radiator core support is SMASHED!. i didnt think it was as bad as it was, but its pushed back 1' EASY. radiator is f'ed, bumper trashed, i didnt even try to lift the hood to check under it.

Who was at fault? If it was him, then you should definitely get paid. +1 on the gap ins., it's the only way to go with cars that don't hold their value all too well (although, I have noticed that it's getting harder to find a cheap hyundai these days).
