I lowered the car with some eibach spring got new tires and now i'm rubbing in the rear.I went to a 205/45/16 and my wheel is a +40 offset. What is the easiest way to correct this.I never thought the 45 would rub.I ran 40s last year with no problem and my stock tire has no rubbing.Any help would be nice.

Yes you can roll your fenders. There's a couple of solutions, some more expensive than the others.

How much for negative camber? An alignment. It doesn't take any other hardware.

no not the price but how much negative camber would i need and still keep the tire wearing as even as possible.

You could probably get away with -1 degree.

Put them in, and drive straight to an alignment shop

There are two bolts that hold the strut to the knuckle. Just remove the bottom one and replace it with the camber bolt. Don't loosen the top one at all at this point. Just replace the bottom one and get it aligned. As lokng as you don't loosen the top bolt, the camber shouldn't move and you can wait a few days to get an alignment it you don't have the time at that moment. But if you loosen the top bolt, you'll change your camber, which will change the toe and you alignment will be all ****ed up. Then you'll have to go right away.

I run -2 degrees camber.

I run -1.4 deg camber if I remember (or -1.5) and this is without any camber bolts. There is enough adjustment for what you want to do.

is it the same on the j2.According to my book the upper bolt is the only adjustment so why would I put them on the bottom

That's what I meant. I meant to say put the eccentric bolt in the top. My bad!
