I thought about this but whats the Gain. My auto teacher said that all it does is turn the Accessory's a little slower getting more HP in the High RPM range. I am just curious. BOB

i have heard rumors over the years that going with a smaller pulley can affect the ac in your car. is there any truth to this.

i only have the crank pulley, and my AC seems to work fine... altho, i dont use it very often to begin with.

My a/c with it's original charge can still freeze the car if I turn it up and recirculate the air. I have just the unorthodox crank pulley. The UDP has been on for 70k miles now.

ok i didn't know of any truth to it but it was kinda one of those wives tales and when you live in Florida ac can become very important.

mine is pretty good atm and i would like to keep it that way but i would also love to change the pulleys for added benefit and engine dress up.

I live in southeast texas. Our humidity sucks here as well. The only thing I can remember noticing is it takes just a little more time to really get cool, but it wasn't that big of a change IMO.
