So.. I went to a local autoshop.. and met a guy who was a racer in Korea... He was telling me that my wheels are heavy.. and he recomanded me to get lighter wheels.. So I guess i'm gonna sell my current wheels and get lighter new ones...I'm not sure which one or what color I want.... I'm thinking like this kinds of wheels with light weight and maybe in gun metal??? Only 17"
This is my car..just for people who don't know...

Why are you listening to that guy? If you like your wheels for daily driving and looks, then keep them and be happy with them. But if you feel your gas mileage or performance is suffering because of the wheels, then let that be the reason to replace them. Or do you just WANT new wheels?

I was thinking the same here. Who cares if he says they're heavy? Sounds like you're doing this just because someone said you should. Hey, I think you should paint your car "Barney purple." There are too many silver Elantra's in your area.

Well I was thinking about getting new wheels for few weeks now... Since I got this wheel when I didn't know about the car, I'm tried of this wheels and want little bit more sporty wheels..Then that guy told me, losing some weight from wheels can be helpful to car.. so now.. I really want new lighter wheels.. it is not that I'm doing this because he told me to do.. I kinda wanted new wheels and now I want to lose some weights of my car..
cant tell that great from the shot you posted, but i like the wheel size/color/lip. i think they are pretty nice, a better pic would help of course.. but i see no need. unless you really hate them that much

Like I said, unless you are noticing slower acceleration or poor gas mileage enough to bother, or you're building a street racer, don't worry about how light the wheel is (to a certain extent of course). Just get ones you like better.

Ya.. it looks like I'm getting slower acceleration and poor gas mileage...
I picked 2 more wheels that I got advice from xdian...

http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/2102/boost20gunmetalgn6.jpg
What do you guys think??? What size of tires do I need for 17x7.5??... Wonder if it will run with springtech.... I do have negative camber atm..
Pete03GLS

i think ud be okay with 215/45, but, id go with 215/40, if the roads in ur area arent too ****ty.
i just got my tires for my 17x7.5 rims, 215/40.

Will I have less than right now or more?? with 215/40. I have 205/45 right now..

those rotas look nice and quite similar to the RG2 that i want., im getting bored of my 5Zigen FNO1R-C wheels so i may be shopping for new wheels maybe next year.
do you have a link to those rotas? i want to see a price.
edit: i found them for less than $600 a set on ebay.
i found this pic of a subaru on rotas, looks very hot with them.

psh.. I never thought.. picking wheels are this hard... I was going to get a boost 17x7.5... but.. I decided not to since it is little bit big...so now.. I'm looking at O.Z wheels.. and can't decided between this two.. I'm going to 16" for less weight and price... not sure how my car look with 16"...
I kinda like the 2nd one..I'm not sure if 2nd one have bolt 4x114.3..(wondering if 4x100 work on our car?) so if they don't.. I might have to go to 17...

our lug pattern is 4x114.3.
4x100 is too small, those are for older hondas.
I like the rota boost better but the second one might look good.
as for the rota boost being too big what do you mean? our cars can take wheels up to 17x7.5 with no issues. i have 17x7.5 and no problems here.

Well.. I might have to roll the fender if I go with that wheel.. also offset was 45...and I noticed weight between current wheel and that wheel wasn't much different.. so.. anyone know any good websites or place to find O.Z wheels?? I checked tirerack but they didn't have much information...
