most people with tuner lugs have the same exact key, 4 of my friends have the same tuner lugs and keys , so keys are very common

As soon as I clicked that link and saw that site I closed the window because it felt like I was in the internet circa 1997. No thanks.

It was on the top of the page, and you still managed to screw up the spelling of "thief"? ;)
Seriously though, that is a good idea. I wouldn't have thought of something like that.

HAHA. Yeah, I was a bit confused, too. It looked real old.

It was late, so hush.

When I see locking lugs, I think to myself, "Hey, if you're going to steal my wheels, can you break my window too?"

Not necessarily, cause it means extra hassle and the possibility of calling attention to themselves.

Stealing rims I think would cause enough attention. Most thieves would just take the whole car.(the least amount hassle involved) I mean seriously how long does it take to jack up a car 4 times?

But putting a car up on blocks and walking away with the rims draws no attention, lol?
Non the less, that is a cool idea.
EDIT: Damn! ^^Beat me to it.

lol yeah that's for sure.. el cajon is just as bad though and that's where i live!
that is tempting.. so let me make sure im reading this right, there is literally a bag inside each tire? that doesnt cause any issues? also a simple ziplock holds up to all that bouncing around in there? if it breaks is it any worse to have all that paper in there?
just seems weird..

what going to break with a ziplock inside of a tire? You can just stick in on the inside of the rubber or something I guess? While it's rolling it'll get forced onto the outer surface anyways.

You could tape it to the wheel itself...

Better yet you could put GPS tracking devices in them and then go the persons house while they are sleeping, steal your wheels back, and take a poop on their hood.
