What do you guys consider to be really good wheel brands? I know ASA (subsidiary of Hankook and BBS), Volk and MRR are the most expensive but they make OEM wheels too, so the way I see it is that if car manufacturers trust them, I guess I can too! After this incident I had with my ADR wheel, they didnt bend, they just snapped, it made me feel that ADR may be $75 a wheel for a reason, because they are cheaply made yet still meet standards but don't go above and beyond in their quality. What brands do you guys recommend, have used or have had good or bad experiences with? Im looking into buying new rims, because I have to, and want to get something good now rather than having to worry about it again in the near future.

Oh and ASA makes Hyundai wheels so thats something to consider.

BBS:
High-quality, expensive forged wheels that are very strong.

Enkei:
Prices vary widely, but even their less expensive cast wheels are typically well built.

OZ Racing:
They offer a wide variety of wheels, but their mid-grade wheels are reasonably priced and unique in that they're known for their use of low-pressure casting. OZ does what it takes to make their wheels strong.

SSR:
Uber-lightweight semi-solid forged wheels that are slightly cheaper than their forged competition.

Volk, or Gram Lights, or any wheel manufactured by Rays Engineering:
Uber-lightweight forged wheels that are normally quite expensive.

ASA is made by BBS in a negotiation with Hankook tires.

So BBS is the best, and since ASA is made in their Germany facilites than I assume that ASA is just as good.

There are some ASA em9s on ebay for like 400 so I was really looking into them

Mille Miglia seem good too.

Konig seem to hold up pretty well to punishing northeastern weather.

When buying wheels, it's a good rule of thumb to stick with a company that makes wheels for OEM vehicles like most of the ones Swortham named. Those wheels will tend to be very high quality since there is a high standard for OEM equipment. Some other aftermarket wheel makers that don't do OEM's still make quality wheels as wheel.

Enkei produces ALL of American Honduh's wheels. Our accessory wheels (18/19") are some of the strongest, pothole resistant wheels I've ever seen.

^ All of the brands I listed make great wheels.

But I think you're going to find the best value in Enkei and OZ Racing wheels. Enkei uses their M.A.T. casting technology in their racing wheels to improve the strength of the wheel compared to conventional gravity casting, and yet it's cheaper than forging. And OZ Racing uses low-pressure casting, which again is better than gravity casting and cheaper than forging.

Looks like there's a special at TireRack right now on the 17x7" OZ Racing Crono HT's. Low-pressure cast, $189 per wheel, 17.5 pounds each. Not bad.

Thanx guys I bought some ASA wheels like I said they make several OEM, 60% of their product is made for OEM the rest aftermarket and they are are partnership between BBS germany and Hankook tires using BBS methods and R&D for their wheels. I hope they are good. Maybe if I suffer another loss Ill go for Enkei 15s.

I'll stick with Enkei 100% I've hit some bad potholes and not even a dent to them! Great quality and the finish lasts forever!

Ewww! Most of their wheels suck, even though they make Motegi. But even still, most Motegis suck!

Ya, I'll stand by my Enkeis.

Curious who makes the rims for Kia? Especially the 07 Spectra?
