Wheels: Silver Enkei RS-5 16x7 /w Kuhmo Ecsta AST 205/50/16

I'll take some better shots when i get a chance, i didnt even move the bricks or jack stands lol.
These were taken spur of the moment on my dads camera @ his place, cause he has a hydraulic jack and i don't heh

Looks good, congrats.

Is it just me or the left front looks at an angle?

i can't really tell what you are trying to say with that statement..
but when i put them on i rolled a few feet front and back and walked around the car and looked pretty good and everything looked right..

Those look a lot better than your last wheels, for sure.

But then again, I'm partial to 5-spoke Enkeis. ;)

needs a drop :)

go with something mild, and it wont be bad...H&Rs are great, i never had issues with them in pgh, and sean took me on some nasty roads.

lol, well theres pittsburgh as issue 1. but also my rear sits a bit lower becasue of two amps, two subs, two boxes and a huge amp sized cap. so when i come around a bend that has a bump in it, i would hit @ stock height. well see with the new wheels, they have a better offset, so maybe that will do the trick and i can *think* about it heh

honestly, i still liked the type 002, just a totally different look. i mean ive seen enkei around, but i never even saw type 002s let alone on an elantra! lol

cmon you really think this looks THAT bad

i went with buywheelstoday. If you buy tires, they do mount/balance/nitrogen inflation/ lug kit/ lug lock/ chrome tips for free and shipping was DIRT CHEAP! I paid 120 each, the 17s are 140 from them. I priced these out at like 10 places, and because of all the install freebies and the lower shipping they came in the lowest even though other places had lower prices on the wheels/tires. shipping was like 60 bucks from them and it was 3 day

the whole process reminded me of ebay, LOOK wheels for 100$!! but with 300$ shipping lol. i kept finding wheels for like 100 each and tires for like 5 each but shipping for everything was like 250 and higher, so buywheels was still lower

they looked horrible...i just didnt have the heart to tell you. lol

i had 2 12's in a box, plus amp, with B&Gs (2" drop all around) in my black xd, and in pittsburgh, i had me driving, sean, brenna, emo shaun, and his ex all in the car, and didnt rub the night we went out. youll be fine w/ H&Rs

how much do they weigh?

the 002's don't look bad, just the lip is too big for me. But the rs5's I love

there's a reason you never see them on an elantra....

those wheels are definitely not a good match for a late model 4 door sedan. small old jap, maybe german, but not an elantra.

Whoa I messed up on my comment...hehe

Yes I meant that from the picture the front right tire looks angled.

Don't you just hate it when you confuse right and left...lol

^ah ok, well i can kinda see what you mean from the pic, but in person it didnt really look that way, musta been the angle of the camera or something like that

keepin the old ones for now, since i sort of ruined them leavin them on all winter im planning on sanding down the damaged zones and cleaning them up and using them as winter wheels. and the rubber on them is GONE, so no poing in even trying a salvage. its wear bar city

*edit, and with rubber i paid like 650 for em, thats just not one of those things i would let go for like 200 bucks or less (prolly what their worth). its like i would rather let them rot in my basement and make 0, then sell them knowing how much money i lost on the deal.. short sighted? sure.. but i don't really care, now i have winter wheels that with some TLC might not be too shabby..

Rims look great! I really like 16s on our cars but you gotta drop it.
Two inches would look really good
