Thieves who own Hyundais should be put in jail for life. Giving Hyundai owners a bad name.

Glad to hear that no one was injured.
I hope it was at least a GT V6 or it wouldn't be a great getaway/chase car
Also hope the mother has home and auto insurance through the same company. Otherwise, how do you explain that you damaged your car to save your house?

Sorry, but are you telling me that girl texted her mom before calling the police? Sounds like a really stupid move to me. Even if you just call the cops and don't say anything they will come to investigate.

All 911 calls have to be investigated up here; no matter what the cops arrive for an explanation. Lucky gamble.

Since it said that she sent a text I'm gonna assume that she was using a CELL phone. Not all areas have Phase 2 capabilities. If it was a home phone then yeah they would get an address. Otherwise they are lucky if they get a cell # and even then the cell companies usually aren't willing to help out.

When I called 911 two years ago, they didn't receive the call for two times and received the third call. (it was Saturday morning...) Besides, my cell phone then had a GPS-911 feature but it didn't help locating me for them. And, telling the home address on the phone in her situation wouldn't be the best choice in her situation.

Or... Well, maybe she was frightened by 911 not answering the phone. ;)

Why is it especially retarded because it's in America? Are you indicating that it's safer to leave a door unlocked in Canada? It has much more to do with area/population/urban density than what side of the border it's on.

I didn't say Canada was better did I? You're just assuming. It's the same as saying that with lower area/population/urban densities you can leave your door unlocked without a care in the world. With higher area/population/urban densities you always have to lock your doors because someone in a red tiburon will break in.

And Yes i am assuming as well. So I will say it's especially retarded because dumbasses leave the door unlocked with a sick kid inside.

Just because the kid is sick, doesn't mean she's retarded. She's 13, she knows how to lock a door.

^how do you know, the article didnt say if she was retarded or not!

ok I didn't mean retarded in the mentally/physically handi capped, if that's what you thought I meant. She's ****ing retarded because she's 13 and didn't lock the door. What the hell, why didn't her parents lock the door or siblings(if there are any) when they left.

If the door was locked she might've heard banging or a window break, then boom right away call 911. And if there was commotion like a window breaking or someone kicking in a door maybe a neighboor would have check it out, I don't know. Afterall she did see them pull up Roby had some advance notice of what her daughter was experiencing when Durnbaugh called to ask if her mother was a expecting a man and woman who drove up in a red car outside of their house. The answer was no.
. Instead of typing "Mommy omg im scard i think were being robbed im hiding help me!" that takes too much damn time.

To me they make her sound like she was smart in texting when they broke in. You don't ****ing text you ****ing call 911.

^im with you, 911 is the wtg, id prolly do a 911 and a call to the mom if i was in that situ. both very short calls. now if the thiefs were in the room with you, then sure txt would be fine.

and i should have put a ":D" at the end of my last post cause i was just farking around.

and im trying to picture this whole hiding in the bed thing. like when your little and you hide inder the covers and think maybe your mom will think its just pillows under there and not you? i really wish there were pics of this..
