You can see the gas gauge go down a bit in this video!

General M3 talk and info: discuss.
Ha! i let the vid load and took my mouse over the progress bar and dragged it back and forth and you can really see how much that gas gauge moves in just the short vid.
i wonder what the extra tax on that car is because im sure it doesnt meet the mpg standards lol

I didn't read through all the comments, but the total lack of shift-shock on the video makes me wonder about its authenticity? Perhaps done on a dyno/etc? Maybe not. I'm not saying it's a fake, just saying it looked awkward without any shift-shock.
^i noticed that right away too. maybe it just rides that smooth :D lol

Even if its a dyno run, the gas still got eaten up, and there is too much rushing air noise/road noise at the higher speed.

Not to mention the squeling tires at take off. That's just insane.

Yeah, they definitely have some power. I love driving them at work. And I'm glad I don't have to pay for the gas for them...

when you can afford an M3, cost of gas isnt so much of an issue any more.

Those m3's are badass, i woldn't mine having one,
here in cali average price of gas is $3.99-4.09 a gallon for regular, so its very expensive to drive one of those here.
gas prices don't affect me much with the XD since my work is only 2 miles away but if i had an M3 i would probably start complaining since i would have to buy premium @ $4.19-$4.29
and probably get ****ty gas mileage since i would probably drive it like a maniac from time to time.:drive:
