Though I had it figured out way before the wife knew I did, I had a great party. About 35 people showed for my big 30 party (doesn't actually happen till Wednesday) and had a great time. Tons of food, beer and little kids. Most of them belong to my friend's which is a daily reminder of how old i'm starting to get. Regardless, an awesome time and I got to put that party room to good use.
Didn't get many pics as I was busy most of the day with guests and family, but I got a couple shots to share.

Her husband got an 08 Tib SE. They traded in a pair of Mitsu's for a pair of Hyundai's, woot!

Mom hooked me up with a new fireplace screen (along with 3 new pairs of chef pant's. Always a plus for me.)

And the gift from the wifey! 28 burger capacity, 50,000BTU's, oh yeah! This sucker will be put to some good use this summer.
Got a bunch of gift cards, gas cards and money (including $25 from my landlord, lol) too. Great times.

It all happens so damn fast! One day you graduate HS, then all of a sudden, you turn 30. You'll see.

Ya know, for a chef, I'm kinda surprised to see you having a gas grill, so that disappoints me, but you make up for it in sheer size (bet no one's ever said that about you before!).

Well, she lives in East Hartford with her mom. That is a rather ghetto city here in CT. Has to maintain a thug lifestyle to survive the streets out there, lol. Seriously though, I wish she would get my little neice out of that city!

Yeah, hartford is kinda rough. I've been in worse, but it's not the greatest. I lived down there for awhile remember? I also learned through a friend, if you go to hartford, there's a reason why (at least at that time) a lot of people had their plates in their windows. Y'all will steal anything! lol
