So i log in today and there are like over 1k new posts for me lol
Been single for like 7 months and i forgot what it was like to put effort into chillin with a chick. Started hangin with this chick last weekend and early in the week and it went well so we spent time together pretty much every day from thu to when i took her home this morning. i totally forgot what a time sink that **** is! and sometimes you don't even notice!

not saying i regretted it cause i had fun all weekend and all, but it was honestly weird to not touch the computer like at all for 4 days.. i feel like i cheated on the internet, call of duty, and guitar hero lol.

Let me clarify something for you:

Woman > Internet & Video Games

You'll be ok.

Oh i totally agree :D
just saying it kinda felt like leaving an old friend hanging, like they were there waiting for me, and i just ignored them lol

the past 7 months have had more games and interweb then like the previous 3 years before it lol. Its like a drug, i have to wean myself off of it.. gotta take it slow so i don't go into withdrawal lol

Yeah.. so this girl walks into my computer room, and i have no choice to explain.

When a person walks into my computer room when giving them the house tour.. here is the image that unfolds before them..

piles and piles of cd's and dvds (literally hundreds in stacks) all over the place, like 7-10 computers in one small room stacked up, some open with parts out and wires hanging all over the place, some are old broken laptops laying around and such... a mini bookcase full of anime, about 30-40 unsorted anime dvds strewn around the room. the exd calender from 07 still on the wall from. a couple of flat panels and a modded TV that i opened and added a speaker terminal to the side of, into that terminal is a full size sony center channel which sits on top of the tv, and on top of the center channel a printer is balanced up there wedged into the wall so it doesnt fall (i ran out of desk space). and in the midst of all that mess there is some screwes/wires/av cables/ elantra side markers/ subs under the table etc. and other odds and ends..

Now.. try explaining that scene and NOT sounding like a dork.. and yes, i live alone, nowhere to push the blame... That room is basically just off limits

oh yeah and theres a set of speakers for my computer hooked up to a switchbox with a 2nd set coming off of it that are in the middle of the room bundled up, when i take showers i move them into the bathroom so i can listen to music heh (interestingly she did not find this dorky, but genius, but everything else im sure was 100% pure dork..)

honestly, i duno why she didnt just turn heel and walk out..
maybe it was pity? heh -eh, thats fine. ill take it!

Well. From that description, I've figured out what's going on. If she saw all that, and didn't run...

She's imaginary.

Good one Mike. Hah.

I'm married. That should be evidence that some girls like dorks.

Bingo!

Most of my computer crap is stashed in desk drawers. Not really to hide them, but so I won't lose them. I lose stuff so easily in this room.

just found out yesterday that she loves futurama, thats one of my other obsessions. prolly seen every ep at least 10 times each if not more..
its only been a lil over a week and everyday i just find something else awesome about her.

im just waiting for the **** to hit the fan...

i mean i did find one that put up with my **** for 3 years before it didnt work out. so i guess their out there heh, you just gotta look a lil harder when your dorkism is a high level.

but im such a closet dork, if it werent for that room people would never know.. i dont even talk about it unless i find another huge dork and even then if other non geeky ppl are around i try and keep it short heh
