Wondering what you guys do with old rims??

So most of you guys know I'm thinking about getting new wheels.. Just wondering what you guys do with old rims that have been replaced?? You guys just keep them for back up or just sell it?? Is there any place buy used rims?? or just use ebay or craiglist? I'm not what to do with my rims if I get new ones... I don't want to keep them since I have Stock Gt tires..How much you guys think I can get them for?? I was thinking like 400 with tires since tires are not in good condition..

Start there and if you can't sell for $400, come down gradually. Someone will be interested eventually. Try craigslist first since it's free.

$400 is a bit much these days. I'm sure you could sell them for $350 though.

never gonna happen. Took me 6 months to get rid of mine, and even then, i didnt get jack for them. Sold the stock suspension and wheels for $150/picked up...and that was the best offer i had.

still doubt youll get anywhere near that. no one wants 15" wheels.

lol... ya.. I'm keeping my GT wheels for later. Guess I will go for $350 on craiglist when I get new wheels.. thx guys

Yoodk also post them up in the Portland craigslist. You'll get better chances if you post them on 2 states...and also check with some Nissan forums since 240's run the same bolt pattern, maybe you could get lucky there too.

to answer the thread q,
i didnt bother sellin mine, im sure if i complained enough i could get *something* back, but one of them did NOT have the wax coating on it. so it got completely ruined, the other 3 are in fair shape but the one is awful. keepin for backup and winter

as for what you should do, im with you on this one, id post em on craigs, and even though they are heavy they are still nice. what is the weight on them anyway? it wouldnt hurt to post them here and/or on crookedH as well as craigslist
