Did you notice on the dyno sheets that they also ported / polished something and did another adjustment as well between the runs? Also, that HP gain was on a car that was already putting out 200+ hp.

Actually a lot of people used to do this mod, I think a lot of people with supercharger STILL do this mod, but you don't need a kit to do it.

^ I agree that the modification is worthwhile (unless you live in a place where you have troubles with your throttle body icing up). It's just funny what people will pay for a piece of tubing and some other odds and ends.

before my BBTB, i had it done.... well i guess i have it done since the BBTB has no fittings for the coolant. but yea like Kyle said, i just used the stock hose like everyone else. no noticeable HP gains though, thats just crazy to say you gain 8hp

same here, i wonder if the small amount of coolant that got trapped in the TB is dirty by now, lol, like it matters.

there shouldnt be any Coolant in the TB.... it should have drained out when you did this mod.

you may be right, i don't remember for sure, its been a long time, but there probably isn't anything in there anyways due to heat trough out time vaporizing what ever or if anything was left in there.
