The Infiniti G35 as we know it in the U.S. is a Nissan Skyline in Japan, so nothing has changed there. This is just a new model.

Right...hence the tail lights still looks like a G35, only thing that is a bit perplexing, yes i said perplexing is that it is badged as an infinity motor, but then again so what? They are the same company

Can't say if I like it or not... the one thing I do like is the integrated exhausts, I hope that catches on with more cars.

yeah, thats what I was saying, just because they are the same company, they wouldnt misbadge, especially since as an infinity they can sell it for 20k more.

 Am I the only one that doesn't like it? I think its plain ugly. I think I would stick with the R-34.

yea i agree its not all that great it looks to much of a luxury car then a sports car but yes the R34 does look a lot better. If they were to bring the real skyline here i HP.

^^ I agree w/Cyberz, too luxury! Why the 4-doors? I do admit that the exhaust is pretty cool but I would rather see a 2-door version.

Is this the replacement for the R34 Skyline? How do you take a top of the line sports car and end up with a G35? If that's the case I sure hope they put a twin turbo in the VQ engine.

Nissan 350Z that is the way to go, I was looking at one the other day, its well within my price range, but the insurance, wow.

Oh man i just notice that the 36 has four doors and not 2. Whats up with that, that just throws the whole idea of having a Skyline. To whats the HP on this car, because if they are going to call this a skyline it better have a better performance then the 35.

You guys are confusing the Skyline with the GT-R. The base model Skyline is the G35 here in the U.S. The R34 has been dead for a few years now. There is a concept version of the GT-R out on the net: http://www.jbskyline.net/V35/GTR/
Supposedly they will drop the Skyline name from it and just call it the GT-R. Also, it will more than likely come equipped with either a twin-turbo 3.5L V6 (VQ35DETT) or a 4.5L V8 (VQ45DE), not the 2.6L twin-turbo I6 (RB26DETT) that has been the powerhouse of the previous GT-R's.
Whether or not Nissan will actually produce the GT-R is anyone's guess. However, if they do, it will more than likely be sold in North America, unlike the previous GT-R's.
