I saw this cold air intake and I'm thinking of buying it. It's very cheap so I'm kind of wary of it. Do any of you know if this is a good intake or not? Also is that website a trusted web site to buy from?

I have no experience with the website. But i can tell you that you can get a way cheaper intake thats probably still just as good. Got mine of Ebay for like 40 bucks, and it works great.
if ur gonna spend 75 dollars, ante up a bit and get a real AEM of KN CAI. Or you could buy the CAI of ebay, and replace the filter with a brand one.

dont let vibrant fool you, its not a full cold air intake like it looks like it is. its just and SRI with some tricky photography. i called before i decided to order and im glad i did cause i woulda been very upset if an SRI showed up. if you want a real CAI visit www.evofusionusa.com or sharkracing.com

Thanks for the info! That's pretty messed up that they would try to sell an SRI and make you think it's a CAI. I thought that price was a little too good to be true. I'm actually leaning towards getting an SRI anway, but not from there. Maybe andysautosport.com. They have the weapon R SRI for 2001-2006 elantras, but they want $160! That's an outrageous amount for a SRI. Where did everyone here get their air intakes from?

I'm considering buying one of these SRI's. The ebay one is ALOT cheaper though. I have never used ebay before but then again, I've never bought car parts online before.

I read some review about this website on one of the other forums, I don't remember where it was from though, I think it might have been crookedh, but they said their customer service totally sucks, I'd avoid.

Thanks for the reply guys.
If I get the CAI from evofusionusa.com, will it be easy to install? Will I need to cut anything for it to fit in the engine bay? I read in the DIY section that you have to remove the driver side wheel, is it necessary for this intake as well? I have never installed an intake system before so I'm gonna get someone to help me. Any advice from you guys would be much appreciated. I'm thinking either that CAI or the SRI from www.sharkracing.com. However, I don't know if my 2005 elantra has the MAF or the MAP. I have to know which one my car has in order to buy the SRI, so does anyone know if the 2005 Elantra has the MAF or the MAP?

I ordered the shark racing SRI a couple weeks ago and it should be here very soon but I have a question about the filter. The filter it comes with has a black cap on the end and most of the filters I've seen for intakes don't. Should I replace the filter with a different one, like maybe a Fujita? Anyone here have any experience with this particular intake? Thanks.

doesnt make a difference if it has a cap on the ned or not. mine looks exactly the same as that and works fine. dont worry bout it and save your money for a filter when that one gets dirty.
