2001+ Taillights

For those of you who have been wanting aftermarket taillights for your rides, I got in contact with someone at Evo Fusion and they informed me that they are in development right now and should be done in November.

Check these ones out for the Tib and Tucson.

that's an excellent rendition ronniasan, but why would you want to turn the elantra into an altima?

just please NO YELLOW.......
red and clear lenses .......
it would be cool with one big red circle,,,,,take out the yellow on top...
and the led turn signal is cool
also the yellow and clear circle....does not exist and bulbs cant be used in them unless the company is gonna rewire everything!
we have 3 bulbs.....1 stop 1 turn 1 reverse
it be cool if there is 1 big red circle than make the led turn signal go all the way across and then relocate the clear revers where u have it!
see if u can re model it take out the yellow one and make red circle bigger that would be pimp

hey, it looked great on the alteeza, but when it's on every jacked accord and civic, it kinda makes it stupid. (still, that photochop is impressive ronniesan).

Thats kinda like the idea I had and was going to do. I was ganna get that spray on tint and do like, 10 layers on the taillights forming a black triangle with 3 dots, 1 for each light.

yeah..if they look like the photochop I would consider them too (but they would have to be designed for the 04-05 too...otherwise, i'd stay with stock.

just so you know....there will be no such taillight available universally for 01-05
01-03 will have a set and 04-05 will have to have others made
the tails are not universal and cant be made universal in anyway!
and dont say to change the trunk lid on an 01-03 because the lights still wouldnt work
all the bolt holes are different and is still wouldnt fit in there corectly
i have an 04 taillight if anyone wants to buy it....40 bucks

I would have to disagree with that statement. Ever since 2001 with the intro of the Toyota Altezza (lexus IS300) all these companies started making "altezza" lamps. I have an IS300, and personally hate when people say nice civic till they read the back of it.

Well I guess its concidered a trend..... like projectors,wings,hood scoops....

I just hate when a kid buys a set of altezzas and peeps bash him for it, alot of people hate them... I think its just one more way to customize your ride.

My car gets called Civic all the time (Oh and subaru also..) I dont mind... no one around here has a custom Elantra... thats why I bought it and did what I did... soon more will follow (Hopefully...) and more products will be avaible to the cosumer..... cheap products! cause the reason it isnt going like gang busters yet cause our products are way too expensive!

If these tails came out they will be about $250 i bet... not $100 like most others... (cause after the mold is made and all the kinks are out.. it takes less then a dollar to manufacture it....)

If you don't like the taillights, don't buy them and don't bash other people for getting them. I think our cars will look great with them because of the shape. I think what makes a lot of altezza lights look cheap is the fact that they are. The ones that spiido are making look like they will be pretty high quality, less like the altezza and more like the RX-8 (Well the tib ones do anyway). Besides, there are some things that highly respected people on this forum have done to their cars that I think is just sickly and I don't complain. To each his/her own right?

I like the lights but they do look similar to the altima's lights. Still, I would definitely purchase! I mean they will give the Elantra a unique look.

if they arnt actually making them like this exact chop please send the pic to them. i really like that new chop, especially since i have a white gls. the stock lights are ugly as sin, they don't flow at all. they look out of place and far too large. the most attractive tail lights FLOW. a car that is wider than it is tall should have lights that are wider than they are tall (like most cars). ours are taller than wide and it looks odd... a low bumper and high spoiler helps offset it though. i am going to buy these :tongue:

If we can get these guys to make use some tiallights then why can't we just get them to also make us some projector lights also. But either way if they look good and not all chromed out i'll buy them because i don't really feel the chrome thing on a Import. I think chrome looks good and luxury cars better.

Yeah... actually I e-mailed them last week and they told me they need more time to finish the development on them. I just have a feeling the finish date will keep getting pushed back. Cross your fingers.

I think those tailight renditions look awesome! I HATE the stock taillights on my 01. That's like the only thing I don't like about the body of my car. I like the ones on the 04-05 models. I've been searching and searching for new taillights... I guess for now I'll get the smoked covers.
