I don't think they'll look good on the car for some reason. I have to see it. Photochop anyone?!

They look badass....on silver cars. I think those are just the replacement cover lenses that me and a few other people have with the red (stock) lens cracked off. The price seems too cheap for total replacements unless that is $105 each (I paid $75 for the pair of cover lenses from kSpec).

See? Badass.

wouldnt clear tail lights be bright for the driver behind u

Nyck, that's what we are talking about, they seem to be the same thing.
I think if anything, the lights are actually less bright because of the lack of plastic to refelct the light (unless you get different lights). But who cares about the person behind you? Haha.

Not really! It'll more or less even out. Since the lens is clear, you would use a red bulb which isn't as bright/blinding as a clear bulb, but since the lens is clear, you get to see the full brightness of the red bulb. With red lens, you use clear bulbs. The red lens sort of tints the light from the clear bulb which makes it non-blinding because it doesn't release the full intensity of a clear bulb. So it pretty much evens out.

you think they'd come up with somthin like that for us hatch backs?

With the smoke lenses on and red bulbs in, the brake light is a lot dimmer than stock. My white turn signals are blinding though!! I've received many complaints about them from driver's behind me. The differences are due to the lack of the red diffuser-type lens which is what makes the lenses translucent and makes the light scatter less.

I didn't see any hatch one, but anyway that one is same as mine which other stores sell. They are just selling as a set that you don't have to break and DIY. I personally saw those lights and it was pretty disturbing my sight. That's why I just kept my with stock housing and just put that cover on.

what do you mean by off the website??? Oh, and this black housing let the light go through about 95% or something which means rear car can see pretty good. I had zero complains, even cop mentioned that it is pretty bright enough.

Why would anyone want clear tail lights? That is so 1999ish. Clear tail lights have been played out a looooong time ago here in So Cal. Not to mention you'll never see anyone in so cal with clear tail lights anymore because cops pull you over the moment they see them. Most of the people that went the clear tail light route either has switched out their taillights or ended up painting part of it red again. Even altezza's are played out, and that's newer than the clear tails.

Well, these lenses aren't very clear actually, they are pretty tinted.
Oh, and by the way, using the phrase "played out" is pretty old too.

Please update us on the newest and hippest way to say "played out" or "out of style". Some of us here are old and outdated. What's the popular way to say that in Novascotia? Us Southern Californians receive our info a bit slow and we're always behind in style.
