I had both, currently have DSL at the apartment. Unless your doing large downloads, you won't need FIOS.

I have verizon High speed at home and use FIOS at work (whenI can post from there)

I have FIOS....it's awesome. Well it's in the main house....my room is outside the house...long ways...I have a wireless antenna....Edimax (best out there).

I get very good to excellent signal all the time..my DL and UL speeds are way faster than comcast cable internet. I love it. Another plus is that it is cheaper.

FIOS @ home. Broadband @ school. Why do you need to know who has it???? Compatibility issue with Verizon?

fios is the ****... makes everything seem slow hell. if you do a lot of gaming online and downloading then its for you.

I ahve been trying to get Fios for a year now since we got the house and it's still not available in my hood. They did all the wiring installation on the block a few months ago, but it's still not available. I will be switching though!

I changed from Verizon DSL to FiOS about 3 months ago. Bye-bye Comcast cable. Loving every minute of FiOS.

hell, its all about the speed channel and soccer channel for me. i dont know any other stations when im at home. now i just need to get a box for here in my room so i can watch tv instead of movies and use the computer
