I plan on replacing my timing belt and the related tensioners, belts, and water pump. I was thinking that while I am at it, I could replace a few other things in the name of upgrades/performance.

I was thinking about the ARK lightweight pulley set. Seem a lot of people talked about it, but I haven't seen a thread with actual posts of an install. Anyone have any opinions or suggestions?

well you can but that's a whole nother story....but it will be lighter and help the engine rev quicker = less rotational mass = easier engine works = more horsepower

well since you will have all the belts off, go for a underdrive pulley. big difference, especially with the AC on. biggest difference is in the low end, I haven't had any issues with heat, or dimming (and I do have a decent stereo). much more enjoyable to drive imo.
