found performance chip 4 elantra

I found a performance chip for the Elantra's. Its an SLRmotorsports Performance chip. Its on SLRMotorsports.com, Should I buy it?

No. It's crap. There's no way a single chip is applicable for elantras from 1992-2008. It's most likely no more than the "ebay chip" which is just a resistor you put in-line by the air intake temperature sensor. (those don't do anything, btw).

If there was a simple chip that added 50hp, 50tq, and 3-6mpg - every Elantra would come with it from the factory.

it says nothing on the site about how it works or what it does to boost HP and TQ gains. looks like a higher class version of the crappy magnets on ebay

It might be interesting to try it. Someone should just to prove its Hogwash. It says money back if its crap. If it is just put it on ebay and get your money back.
