I have a 1997 Elantra and i wanna get some rims for it but someone on a previous thread i had told me that the 97 rims are hard to find because there are 4 bolts in the way or something can someone shed some light on this situation and if you know any rims that would go on the 97 please let me know. Thanks

most of the elantra's are 4 lug

You should be able to use use rims from the Elantras from 1997-2000 and from the Elantra XD and XD2, too (2001-2006).
I had loaned my aluminum stock 15" GT rims from my '02 Elantra to a friend of mine with a '99 Elantra wagon and they fit fine.
You can also go to www.tirerack.com, enter your car's year, make and model and it will tell you what aftermarket rims fit that they sell.

the 97-98 Elantra's used press on rotors. There are 4 bolt heads that get int the way when tyring to use aftermarket rims. Best bet would be to check outthe Tire Rack website to see what they have that might fit.
Other option would be to convert the front over to slip-on style rotors. That wuld free you up to use almost any 4x114.3 wheel
