I ran a search and the results were poor....what I am wondering is if it is fesible to use an adjustable FPR with the returnless style fuel system of the BETA II motor....
It may be if you can find a way to replace the one in the tank and put that one in its place but no one has done it yet and I still haven't taken a look at or stock fuel pump to make sure

actually.
you can convert to a return system, replace the pump in the tank, and then install your own adjustable regulator in the engine bay :)
its a lot of work, only 1 person has done it... (dont recall who) and it works fine.

well, right now I pretty much have everything for my custom turbo setup aside from fuel management.....I do have a walbro 255 fuel pump and sonata injectors, but I do not have a way to manage the fuel pressure.....so I either need to run a different FPR with a return line, or would like an Apexi SAFC be easier?
here is another thing I have been pondering....instead of geing in a hury, could I use bigger injectors, like DSM 550cc, splice the wiring, then save up the money and use the greddy emanage piggy back system...it would all be a matter of wiring it up correctly, right? I am thinking more in long terms and if the greddy emanage would be the best, I think I will just save up the money for that....anybody got any input on this?
A return line and a afc together would be the best

dont plan on the dsm injectors to fit in your IM/fuel rail without a lot of work... I have a set of 450cc DSM injectors i will sell ya pretty cheap if you are interested in doing it though...

what all would I have to do inorder to get the DSM injectors to fit, aside from wiring?

they wont fit.
you would have to have custom fuel rail bracket adapters to make them fit.
:) you will also need to splice the injector harnesses onto the stock harnes...
not really difficut.. but it has been one on a beta 2 before. :)
also, you have to be sure to match the impedance of those injectors that you want with the ecm that our cars have... i dont recall at the moment if they are high or low impedance, and I did not mention it on my injector upgrade page on my website.... www.nitrousworld.com , I may have mentioned it in another section but i'm not sure.
Good luck ! :)

I vaguely remember that too... somebody did it to their Beta2 Tiburon I believe. MalikGuy has also done this to his non-turbo turbo'd Eclipse (returnless to return conversion + rrfpr). His last dyno resulted in 274 whp out of that 2.0L motor with reliable & steady fuel delivery. Took him a lot of work to make it work well, but it goes to show that it's possible.

All it takes is some knowledge, some money, and a few busted knuckles and you can have yourself a top notch fuel system.
:)
please take lots of pics of the process and keep this forum updated with the pics/results.
thanks

will do.......I think for now I will stick with the sonata injectors, Apexi SAFC and have it dyno tuned from there......I will take pictures of my prpgress with my Garret T3 mated up to my own custom turbo manifold....thanks for all the help
