Turbo on an auto?

Would the stock transmission on an auto hold up to the power gains from a turbo or s/c? If not what modifications would you have to do to it so it could handle the added power?

Basically it could support a low boost application. Most people would suggest getting in contact with Level 10 (http://www.levelten.com/) and have them "bulletproof" it for you. Good luck.
