hey im new here, but i sure would be down in meeting up with some elantra enthusiasts.( i dont have much done to my car yet, since i just traded my 03 elantra for an 05.) i was thinking we could meet in the middle depending on where some of us located. im in the north texas area, north of frisco and about east of denton.

i say for those who are in texas, dallas and north texas area and any others who want to meet, lets meet at hooters or fridays in lewsiville on friday the 25th of february in the evening. if not then at the same place (or places) on saturday the 26th of february for lunch then go some where for fun...bowling, movie, or arcades or at speedzone....what do you think?

Hey, I would love to meet up with everyone, but the idea of driving all the way up there hurts my wallet and my tires....haha.

I really wish there was a better place to meet between here and Dallas. Keep the ideas rolling, I may still be willing to drive out there though.

JP we always have to drive. ;) I'd love to get a beach meet together, but unfortunatly that is a long haul for everyone involved except for us. What would be interesting is to get together in front of a Hyundai dealer. ;) Have them 'sponsor' it. "Crooked H Day at Sandjammers Hyundai."

if you could set that up it would be soooo worth the drive and the beach thing.... GOOD ONE!! that would be awsome we should do like a weekend meet sometime in the summer or sooner like a friday-sunday thing that way ppl can go out there on any of those days or stay the whole time the only problem would be a place to stay unless we could camp on the beach then that would be sweet! hell we could make it an annual thing for everyone in the south central region of the us and it doesnt have to be in houston or the beach all the time if ppl are willin to drive then it could move from location to location or if evryone wants it could stay where it started. but the meet at a dealer would be coo too and i would drive.

Looks like a high of 64, with a 15% chance of rain and partly cloudy, I'd say it's going to be okay. As for something after....I'm not from Dallas, so I'll leave that up to the locals.

I drove all the way up from Houston, and 2 other local Dallas people showed up. 3 of us total. I'm sad to admit this, but this was probably the worst XD g2g I have ever been to, even worse that ALL hyundais were invited, and only 3 showed, including me all the way from Houston. Funny though, after we got done eating, we go outside to find 3 Tibs and a Neon-SRT parked out near us. Too bad we couldn't figure who the damn owners were. The black tib had VMPYR as a license plate #, maybe someone knows he/she.

Anyway, it will be a very long time before I take another trip out to Dallas for a g2g. I'll be staying here in the Houston/Galveston area for all future meets.
