Ok, heres the scoop. I picked up a set of The Spec-V wheels on craigslist for 125 with tires. I've gone through a lot of the old threads about zx2uner and 04 elantra cvvt's and have come to the conclusion that they need to be bored out 1mm for proper fitment. On the other hand the possibility of using a 5mm spacer was also mentioned. What is your opinion on going that route? Would it work? Also what kind of spacer will I need (link would be helpful)? I am planning on running 215/45/R17 so I'm thinking with the extra 5mm of offset I'll need to roll the fenders as well. Let me know. Thanks

Spec-v not v-spec;)

If you use a spacer, with those size tires, you will need to roll the rear fender. Boring really is the easiest way to go. I got rid of of rims cause the ride was so rough and picked up another set of regular Nissan Sentra 16" rims and had to bore them too.

How did you go about boring them? Die Grinder? Dremel? How long dit it take?

Die grinder. Takes about 1.5 minutes a wheel. It's Al alloy so it grinds easy...

I tried spacers when I had a set of Spec-V wheels, they didn't work too well (the wheels still shook). I would go the same route as Alex.
