OK, I'm leaning towards some kind of hyper-black or gunmetal, but really want Enkei RPF1's, which are only available in silver to fit the Elantra. Would silver look ok? I have RPF1's in SBC finish on my Z and would to put that finish on the Elantra, but they're not available in the correct size in SBC.
Any color/style suggestions? I don't like multi-spokes (more than 5 double or single spokes) or fake rivets.

Metallic Beige? Do you mean "KO"?
I'd pick bronze, gold, or gunmetal.
I picked bronze.

Black rims suck. So, gunmetal or bronze.

check the VW forums for the Ronal teddy bear's. Chicks with Beetle's dig em.
I wish people would stop buying black and hyper black/gloss black wheels. they dont look good on anything.

Definitely not going with bronze. It's not going to match exactly and it'll be too close to contrast.

Really?
My '01 Tibby:

I think they look pretty good on my Z too:

RPF1's in SBC (hyper black). These are what I was looking at for the Elantra, but in silver (SBC isn't made in a 4x114.3). I like that the 16's are only 13Lbs.

Anyone have pics of a "Metallic Beige" (KO) Elantra with silver rims?
How about ZR2's:

or EVO5'5:

yep. really.
the tib might as well be on steelies, and the 350 looks like it stole its wheels from a civic.

So, I guess you're one of those "form over function" guys? You sportin' the bling? The black Rotas weighed 13Lbs. and were easy to clean. The Z's 18x9.5" rims only weigh 18.6 Lbs. That's less than a stock 15x6" Civic steel wheel.
If you truly believe Enkei RPF1 Race rims look like they came off a Civic, you have no taste at all.

Im not saying they're not a bad choice for weight or whatever, i just think they're ugly. Just stating an opinion. We do agree on fake rivets though, hate that ****.
I like Rota Slipstreams a lot, just not in black. from a distance, as far as looks, they might as well be steelies. And with the 350, it doesnt look terrible, but ive definitely seen better looking wheels on a 350 before. They just dont match the style of the car. They look like cheap wheels that you'd see on any other import on the road.
And no, i dont sport the big bling. My wheels are simple mesh spokes, brushed aluminum color, with a polished 1" lip. 17" size, no heavier than stock, and they fit the car well.

I just prefer to buy well established brands that have more money invested in engineering than design. The Enkei's certainly aren't cheap at over $400 a pop. I don't like "lip" or anything polished or chrome. To me, the idea of spending money or rims that weigh the same as stock in an exercise in futility.

well on a family sedan, weight of the wheels isnt really my top concern.

Regardless of how much the wheel weighs or who designed it, black still looks fugly.

I like the flat bronze that Ilan posted. Black really is played out and I don't think it would looke good on a beige car.

I wouldn't consider an Elantra a "family sedan". It's more of an economy car. Wheel weight can make a dramatic difference in fuel mileage.
Regardless of how much the wheel weighs or who designed it, black still looks fugly.
If you think black is fugly on any car, your opinion is meaningless to me. I need people who like all colors to tell me which they think would look best with "metallic biege".

This is the kind of opinion I need. Someone who doesn't outright dismiss a color, but gives an actual reason why a particular color may or may not work. Not, "xxx color sucks on any car".

In "babot's" sig. Hyundai calls gold, "metallic beige".

ah ok, I think of that as champagne. On a color like that, I'd say go with a silver.

Well I'm leaning silver now just 'cause the factory rims and hubcaps are silver. Also, I can get the RPF1's in silver. They're a bit pricey for a Hyundai, though... online price is about $1300 for 16's with Toyo T1r's.

If its too much for ur Hyundai then you sir are not a dedicated Hyundai fanatic. Go mod ur Z if you want more bang for buck! :)

Yes.
...and just incase others missed my earlier posts, black rims are ugly.
I still like the bronze or gunmetal options though. Obviously silver would be ok too, since that's the stock color.

At least im not the only one.
And yes, the elantra is a family sedan. anyone who deny's it is in denial.
My mom's been driving one for 7 years if that says anything.

Have you driven a stock motored Elantra with 4 people in it? I think I can run faster. This car is not designed to haul a normal sized family with any regularity. A Sonata, Azera or Genesis, I'd buy as a family sedan. Any Elantra is an economy car... something you'd buy your kid to take to college.

Didnt say it was a good family car. I said every review you read of it, its called a family car.
Id call the Accent an economy car.
