I've done my research, there only seems to be one or to thread on this topic, and the topics always mention "the slim fans on ebay"
well, my question is this:
Who has slim fans, what brand are they, what CFM are they, how much do they cost, and where can I buy them? I'm looking to pick up 2 14" to replace the OEM with ones on the front of the rad, so I have more turbo room (;););););))
I'm looking at CFM vs COST.
I'm also looking to purchase a set some time this week.
Thanks guys!

Why don't you just put the stock ones in front of the rad? Not enough room there?
Ah, the joys of modifying elantras :) I remember those young foolish days :D

I had these on my '01 Tiburon:

The Flex-a-Lite 220 fan fits perfectly on our radiator. It's also available in red or blue (add R or B to the end of the part #).

I got mine when I bought my radiator. Remember that I have the civic radiator. Mine's 10" i think and pulls 1200cfm.

get slim fans and put them on the front of the radiator and reverse the wires. double score. i think we had 10" fans from advance auto parts for seans j2. i want to say they were 40-50$ each

The problem with using pusher fans is that when the fans aren't turning, they act as an obstruction. If you're on a strict budget, it will work, but the FAL fans are a much better option. They pull alot more air than generic universal fans due to the fact that they incorporate a rubber gasket sealed shroud.

there are a bunch of cars that use fans on the front, I don't think they would pose much of a restriction, because whether they are on the front or the back, the air has to pass through them anyway.

The FAL's are better just because of the shroud. They cost more, but you get what you pay for. Either way, it's your car. Just giving you another option and telling you they worked for me.

^^ and I appreciate that, I think I'm going to be purchasing a set of 12" and mounting them on the front due to turbo size restrictions fans pose when they're pullers on our cars. I need every inch I can get (no homo)

and what do you need more room for? finding changing out the hairdryer that passes for a turbo on your car ;)
