Ok so I finnaly got new tires. I went up in size to 215/45R17, and I must say that just driving 100 feet I could tell a huge difference. Those 40 series tires were killer. I am about to go get my hair cut and while I am out I will snap a few pictures.

Oh and these are also the first pics with my clear sidemarkers.

Your car is so pretty when it's clean. You should have gone with those tires from the beginning.

Yeah I am not too worried about rubbing in the back, and I have locked the wheels both right and left during turns without rubbing. I think they are perfect.

it's not the lock to lock turns that I have a problem with, it's going around a sharp turn and hitting a bump that I have a problem with. I don't rub in the back, the front, that can be a different story.

having appropriate sized tires is a good thing.

cant imagine why youd have a problem, im lowered more than that and have the same size tires, no problems at all.

Just keep in mind, your speedo and odo are going to read about 1.5% low.

Just keep in mind, your speedo and odo are going to read about 1.5% low.

which is .75 mph at 50. if that's enough for you to worry about, you have issues.

Yeah 72=75 on my speedo now

Yeah 72=75 on my speedo now

Which depending on what the limit is, you're still getting pulled over.

I went up north and Miyabi followed in her car, she went 75 and I went 72 to match her speed. The speed limit was 70, and on the 5 between LA and Sacramento people go 90+.

Yeah 72=75 on my speedo now

Other way. Actual 75 = 72 on your speedo.

I went up north and Miyabi followed in her car, she went 75 and I went 72 to match her speed.

That would be correct.

I know 215's ride better but i've always thought they looked a little big for our cars. Car does look nice and clean though.

Looks good man! I am due for some tires soon so definitely looking into getting a setup like that since I have the ProKit

I am going to clean my car tomorrow... I am so pissed when it looks the way it does and see others' look so good

Thanks for the "clean car" comments, my whole family beats me up about it. My dad see's my car about once every 2 months and always says it is the only car that has a cleaner engine bay then the outside of his car. I like to clean it once a week, mostly on Sunday's.
