What Are some solutions to the map sensor issues. Can i run a diode in line to clamp the voltage? Also has anyone installed an safc2 in an elantra? If so how do you set it up after its wired. For example the whole in and out ****. Detailed explanations would be greatly appreciated. :bowdown: :bowdown: :D

About the......
SafcII does anyone have the settings?(a turboed verison of these seetings for 5-7 psi set up?) and how do you set the SAFCII up after wiring it to the car? If anyone knows the thread for the voltage clamping for the map sensor on the 2002 xd...I love to have it...almost done with the car, butI ran in to these two problems!
I know the max volts are 4.6-4.7 and all I think I need is a resistor or diode to keep that voltage on the map sensor.

And I know I just repeated myself in the thread above, :tongue:

I can't really help you out man, and there aren't very many people with a turbo in their XD here. You might want to try hyundaiperformance.com for help. There are a few people on here with an SAFCII installed though.

dont use the diode, you can use the SS digital adjustable map clamp (I have one for sale in new condition) and you can adjust fuel trim across the board using the SS ARC1.(also for sale in new condition)...

let me know :)
