Here's my car... an '03 Elantra GLS. I haven't done too much with it, and probably won't do too much more. Just new wheels (15" Rage Vigor) to replace the steel wheels and plastic wheel covers, a chrome trunk garnish (thanks, Carbonman), and my little chrome Skyline emblems from eBay to add a little sparkle to the sides. Hope you like it...

Looks good.

Skyline emblems? Not like from a Nissan Skyline... right? I hope not.

Keep up the good work. One of the KDM all chrome grills would look nice.

And oh, you need some clear sidemarkers.

Nix on the emblems? Why's that? I saw them here on another guy's car and liked them. I went and found my own pair on eBay. I'd been looking for a little something to put there and I thought they looked pretty good. Too ricey???

If the ElantraXD badges had been available back in the Spring I probably would have used those instead.

BTW... thanks, all, for the positives!

I just don't like putting badges/emblems on a car if they are from another car/manufacturer. That's all. Oh well, let's not go off topic any further.

Okay, I see what you're saying, and I agree up to a point. I wouldn't put something like a Honda vtec badge or a Nissan R badge on my car. But I figured that since this particular model isn't sold here that most people wouldn't have a clue where the badge came from. Of course, car people like we have here would be the exception.

Oh, well... I still like them

Thanks,
Wil

So you put rims on the car and then put hubcaps on them? I don't understand. But then again I'm probably drunk

I like the Rage wheels. nice and clean.
So... Drunk Evil decides to post on every new thread to make sure everyone knows he's drunk.
I should do it too. Hey Everyone I'm High on Red Bull Right Now

ahh I read it wrong. to replace the steel wheels and plastic wheel covers. I read it with a pause in between wheels and plastic. oh well looks nice. and I didn't post that I was drunk on every new thread and I am pretty sure I didn't have any typos or anything so I had to share since it wasn't obvious. :0)

Looks like a factory luxury style model.

You got it - exactly the look I am going for.

I know some won't like it, but I'm going to be adding a wood dash kit, too. I got the factory kind... not the stick-on. I'll post again once I have it installed.

Thanks,
Wil

I thought about going the Luxury route back in the day (I say that like it was 10 years ago or something, ha). If I were you I'd try to get a steering wheel out of a Sonata with the woodgrain and see if you can make that would work. That would look nice with the OEM dash kit.

Hey Wil, the car looks great! I've thought about those Rage Vigor wheels myself but just couldn't picture them on the car. They look really nice.

I went for the luxo look inside with wood and chrome (door handles and shift lever button) and it sure makes a difference. I hated staring at that nearly flat gray plastic. I also changed the instrumentation from green to amber, ala Infiniti. It seems to go better with the woodgrain than the green.

Wow... I'd forgotten about this thread. Here's a more up to date picture. Note the emblem change on the front fenders. I think this looks better, and is true to the car.

I was thinking about Rage Reactor's in 16x7. They have potential dont you think? Any quality issues with the Rage brand?
