I have dibs on an alpine turbo kit made to fit a RD Beta 2.0l what kind of mods will i need to doto my car/ the kit to make it work on my Elantra GT... can I work around unichip since im going to have to get it returned for my car.... of course im going to Level10-ize my tranny.....
any help is appreciated....
I've looked in the turbo forum and remeber seeing something on this but I need an answer quick and forgot what I searched for when I read something about it....

If I remember correctly, and I think I do. The Beta I engines have a MAF sensor and a return style fuel system unlike our Beta II's. I'm not sure if that's anything too difficult to overcome though.
One thing I wouldn't do is rush into a turbo if you are still uncertain about such things.
Moving to FI section.

i would do a manual swap not pay out the *** for a lvl 10...
manual swap will cost ya $600 and a few days work.
i would look at dmdicks set up.. i believe he's a beta2 alpine turbo.... dont know if he's using the unichip or whatever though...

last i heard he is using the unichip, and he's also running the sonata injectors + safc to control them. :)

negative on that rd alpine turbo kit....thanks DmDicks.... btw your website doesnt work.... i would really like to see your setup... and I bet im not the only one..... waiting on tim now to figure out the cost of a returnless compatible kit....
