Finally got around to bolting on the kspec manifold and 15G turbo on to my car this weekend. just thought i would share this with everyone......
The greddy td04h-15g from the 92-95 or 92-99 civic turbo kit fits perfectly with the kspec cast iron manifold. the turbo has a garrett t25 flange but uses a custom turbine housing that has a pretty big 8CM housing. the turbine wheel is a TD04H as you can guess which is the 2nd biggest td04 tubine wheel you can get. So flow shouldn't be much of an issue.
you can use the stock internal wastegate as it clears the block and all sensors and is internally set at about 4-5 psi. If thats not enough you can
get the greddy td04h 19T which was offered i think on the integra turbo kits by greddy and the Civic SI turbo kit. the 15G is good for about 250-270ish and the 19T is good for about 300-350
This setup DOES NOT require you to use aftermarket fans or anthing at all :)
The turbo clears the block and the oil dipstick and the o2 housing that bolts on makes for EASY downpipe fabrication. the only hard part is finding a 3 bolt flange that will fit that o2 housing outlet. i had to source the flange on ebay, and if i recall it was for a vw vanagon or somthing.
Personally ive got my own setup using the kspec manifold with the external gate on runner 4 and i welded the internal gate shut on the turbine housing on my turbo.
You can find a few of these td04h-15g and td04h-13g turbos on ebay BRAND NEW MHI (mitsu heavy industries) units but they're pretty pricey (500-600). the only problem is they lack the greddy cast elbow which DEFINATLY makes things easier to fab a downpipe.
Anyway just thought id post up some info here to let you guys know of another easy BOLT ON turbo setup you can piece together yourselves if your the kind of person that likes to fab their setup from scratch for a somewhat decent price.
