whats up everyone, if any if you Elantra guys need grounding kits for your beta powered elantras i have them for sale. there available in red, blue, black, and silver. so far i have a 5pc. kit available and a 6pc. will be on the way soon. basically with my kits, they were specifically made for the beta engine. not like other kits you see which are universal and they tell you certain grounding points and a wire or two can come up short. i've sold over 110+ grounding kits for tibs alone on newtib.com, to local tib owners, and on ebay. with no neg. feedbacks or complaints. so you can purchase with confidence. kits come with full color instructions [for the beta tib]. thanks!

I can ship anywhere for a few more dollars based on shipping in the US. I've shipped kits to Canada, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK with no problems.

[B]SHIPPING: i ship via usps priority mail so they'll arrive to u in about 2-3 days once shipped.

PAYMENT: i accept paypal, you can send payment to prolificdj@hotmail.com , or you can send check/ money order [pm me for address]

PRICING:
5pc. red/ blue/ black: $36 shipped
5pc. silver: $45 shipped

6pc. kits coming soon...

Ok, try this on for size :)

What grounding points have you chosen for the 5point and 6point?
Why do you feel your kit is superior to all the others?

Answer these questions and you have an order for a (preferably) 6point blue grounding kit :)

Answer these questions and you have an order for a (preferably) 6point blue grounding kit :)

for the 5pc. grounding kit [the 6pc. will be ready soon], i ground off the battery to the chassis and the side of the engine, the other 3 points are grounded evenly around the engine to give the engine an evenly distributed ground. i don't want to say that my kit is superior than all others but it's an alternative choice compared to the other kits out. my kits use 4 gauge wire, rubber boots with gold connectors for maximum conductivity which you can compare to those universal ebay kits that use 8 gauge wire, silver connectors which is wrapped with some kind of plastic material around the crimp job. Those also sell for about $19.99 with a jacked up shipping price of another $20. If you check out the thread on newtib.com there's over 130 post in my thread with fellow hyundai owners with nothing but positive feedback. I just want to share my product with the other fellow hyundai owners out there since it was a popular hit with the tib.

Do you have any pictures of it installed, whether on a Tib or Elantra? I'd like to see it in place.

here's a pic of another red kit installed on a beta tib [attachment].

and here's a review of a member from newtib.com who installed it on his beta tib. [thanks to t-mac]

"i noticed a definite increase throttle response and acceleration seemed to be a bit more smooth, smoother idle, and my sound system seems to be a bit more crisp...basically for the price u should buy it, def worth the money and gyrex was a great guy to work with..."

Sorry, for my ignorance in Grounding Kits, but what exactly does it do? And how does it work?

gyrex

basically your engine creates resistance where the stock ground doesn't cut it. adding more ground to an engine will free up the negative current that the engine builds up.

I'm not a frequent member of newtiburon.com, but I've seen this guy sell his wires on there and people have been happy with their transaction with him, unlike another seller on there that's causing quite a few problems for newtiburon.com members.

Let's not hassle this guy about dynos or whether or not the item works. It might not give you the 10 HP that some manufacturers may claim or give you better gas mileage, but the bottom line is that the mod works and many different sources have already proven it's effectiveness with actual dynos.

I know some of you will try and say that you can make this for about $15 worth of parts bought from your auto store and stereo shop, but the reality is some of us do not have the time to make our own wires. For $36 shipped, you really can't go wrong. The guy is just trying to do a service for fellow Hyundai members by giving us a product that is priced very competitively.

I bought my Sun Auto hyperground wires for more than $133 plus shipping, and there's no proof that their wires are any better than his. I paid for the brand name because when I first heard about this mod, Sun Auto was the 1st company to bring it here to the U.S. I also bought a universal 5 pc kit and the fit was fine, but I wished the longest piece was a bit longer. This guy is selling a product that has been pre-cut for our engines, so you know all the pieces will be long enough, if you are going to use his grounding points.

He never claimed that his wires were any better than any one else, but just like he said, you can go on ebay and pay for a $10 HKS or Sun Auto wannabe kit, and they'll still rip you off with $20 shipping. He's shipping it to you USPS priority service, so 2-3 days tops!

I apologize about this long post, but I am tired of some of you guys on here complaining about wanting to see dynos and questioning the validity of a certain mod. If you ever go on newtiburon.com, they have WAY more group buys and WAY more sellers and one of the reason is because they make doing business easier. Lets not scare away another person who's only trying to help out the Hyundai/Elantra community.

thanks a lot BlackElantraGT! basically im just here to share a product to you elantra owners that was a hit with the tiburon owners. this is just an alternative to people who have no time to make there own kit, or don't want to get those wannabe kits on ebay. the sun hyper ground system is an awesome ground kit, if money wasn't an issue to the average car modder everyone would get the sun kit or the other big name kits out there like the hks, or apexi kits. i know i would. as for dynos, don't expect crazy dyno numbers with a $36 mod, but for $36 whats there to lose? it'll arrive to your doorstep with full color instructions. every little thing counts. some people say they got better radio reception, smoother idle, increased throttle response, and slightly better gas mileage. thanks....

Yes, unlike a lot of other mods (some much more expensive), there's really no risk in making your performance any worse or damaging your car with these.

I heard that ground wires does not really make a difference. I personally have never done this or known anyone who has done this. I must say I am a little skeptical. Has anyone dyno-ed or noticed a real difference after installing these?

Look above and there are some feedbacks stating they felt a slight difference. As they said, don't expect an extra 20 HP for $36. But the benefits are definately there. If not then go to the Tib forum and check out their feedback.

What is the difference between the red and silver sets (price is different)?
Does the kit work for the beta II engines? Are the instructions specific for the Elantra's?
Any noticable advantage to getting a 6 wire kit vs. a 5 wire kit?

the kits should work the same for the betaII engines, the original instructions are for the beta tib but the grounding points are all the same. the silver set cost slightly more because the translucent silver wire is more expensive than the red. as for the 5pc. kits vs. the 6pc. kits, the 6 pc. kits just adds another grounding point to even out the look of the engine ground. if you take a look at the pic of the silver kit i have for the v6tib thats how it'll turn out for the beta engine. im just looking over a beta engine right now to see how long of a wire i'll need for the 6 piece. just let me know if you guys got any more questions. thanks

Hey man, any chance of you making just a 1 pc custom wire for me in silver? I just need one from the firewall to the intake manifold to replace the original ground wire, so the wire would be pretty short. If you're able to do that, let me know how much you wanna charge.

okey, where would be the grounding points again??? thx

you can check out the attached image on the first page, but basically with my kit i ground the battery to the chassis and engine, then it gets grounded to the front left of the engine, and the intake manifold get grounded too, thats for the 5pc. kit. when the 6 piece kit is ready it'll add another grounding point to the front right of the engine to even everything out.

-if you guys already purchased the 5pc. you can just add the 6th piece later on. thanks

for a fact i know that the high-end voltage stabilizer units such as apexis do actually work and squeezes out a couple hp or two. 4doorgl on hyundaiperformance has it on his i4 tib in conjunction with a groundwiring kit. im just not sure about the cheaper voltage stabilizers on ebay since we don't know if the components used are the same as high-end units on the market.

I got my 6 piece kit in the mail today. Blue with red boots, it looks great. I checked all the lengths and everything will fit. He included instructions with color pictures and even threw in two posters. It arrived right on time. I would also like to add this is the second set he sent as the first never arrived. He went out of his way for me. Very prompt with the PM responses too. Two thumbs up. Thanks G. :)

Edit: The instructions were for a 5 piece and I got no idea where to stick the last one. Anyone have a picture for me, I have trouble with intructions that don't have pictures. :)

Well I managed to get my kit installed yesterday, but it took a lot longer than I expected, and while things looked like they fit from a quick check the actual instalation was another matter.

There are enough differences between a Tib engine bay and an elantra engine bay to to make a couple of the wires too short to connect to where the instructions tell you, and if you have a VVT with an engine cover there are one or two more problems. :) I more or less replaced the OEM ground, then had to get creative.

I had to punch a hole in my heat shield to make the 17" from the battery to the engine fit. Even then it was real real close. The battery to frame was fine as was the one from the throttle body to the firewall. After that I was just going for looks. :)

Either way I think it looks great, I noticed a difference when I started it up for the first time, so it did what it was supposed to and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I had some 4GA wire left over from my audio install that I'm using to make my own. I bought the connectors that are gold plated just like the ones he has on his wires for .55 each. When I have time to do this and take some pictures it should help you Elantra guys out with where things go and stuff.
