Gonna be headed out that way in October for a guided Musky fishing trip. Going from the Kinzua Dam down stream about 30 miles. Anyone in the area of Perkins?

Anyway, giving a link to the guide service so if you don't know what Musky are (pic half way down the page) you can see one, and because the caption under the pic on the bottom is almost unbelievable! I can't wait for this!

If you want to go musky fishing you should come to Lake Raysown!! It's nothing for people to pull 8-9 foot long muskies from there. Plust it's like 10 minutes from my house.

^Yeah, I know. I mapped it out because were going to shoot down to Pitt for a night after fishing to meet up with my brother in law.


If you want to go musky fishing you should come to Lake Raysown!! It's nothing for people to pull 8-9 foot long muskies from there. Plust it's like 10 minutes from my house.

We're going to do it guided once to learn some tricks and tactics. It is called the fish of a million casts for a reason. We're hoping to cut the number down a bit, lol.

^Hitting several, lol. I'll let you know when this gets closer. My brother in law is there, and one of my buddies friends lives there as well. Nothing like a night of debotchery to end a vacation!

it's debauchery spaz. so you can plan a vaca to pa to go pluck some smelly fish out of water, but you can't even be bothered to give me a holler when you pop into ny? douche. lol

Never claimed to be an engrish major, and did you look at the size of these fish? If you had them near your house, i'd stop by. Closest place to you to fish Musky is Buffalo, and that's not exactly close.

IDK about muskie, but I know there's a place called Salmon River in Pulaski that is apparently the place to be for steelhead. Not that I know what I'm talking about, I've never claimed to be an outdoorsman :D

Musky fishing on that damn is pretty awesome. If you are looking for excellent Norther Pike I would also recommend High Point Lake.

Yeah, they say the river and the resivour are both excellent Musky destinations. We happened to hook up with the guide that does the river side of the dam.

I've actually been asked this a couple times. Unfortunately, it's a 19 foot jet boat with 3 of us, our gear and the captain. The guides limit the trips to 3 people. Surely for safety reasons. If someone for any reason decides to drop out, I'll certainly keep you in mind.

^Sorry bro. The river kicked our *** for 3 straight days and we were just too tired. That is one hard fish to catch! In 3 days, we only brought in one.................damn.

That one could actually be a meal for some of the others in the river, lol. The cold front you guys had over the weekend really screwed up the fishing for us. Oh well, we'll give it another shot.

yeah it made for a chilly night sat while camping, my toes were frikin ice. woke up at like 5am and had to double up on socks. glad i brought a comforter on top of my sleeping bag too heh. that bag is only rated at 40 degrees and it dropped to high 30s in the am.
