You are correct :znaika: . At last count we had at least 6 different countries represented here. As we all know, the US pays some of the highest prices because we want things "now". Just triing to give a different perspective and price comparison.

In Europe, these eyelids are very similar to ones for
BMW 3,5,7,"Z", "C"(These are like a damn plaque here, but I have a nice one)
Audi A4,6
Opel Vectra,Astra, and Omega
And the XD here is either 1.6 or 2.0 CRDI

So there are interesting twists on items we discuss.

Unlike other cars, there is only about an 1/8" border on the side. I don't know that that would look all that good :confused:

i played around a bit in p-shop with the bmw style eyelid on an xd and i must say that i was not at all impressed with the results, the pitfall, as it would seem, is the fact that our head lights are not shaped closely enough to the bmws to pull it off esthetically. if you looks at a majority of the most attractive headlights they are often shaped something like the outline around the bmw headlight.

ours seem to be "upside down". the inside curve on the headlight is on the bottom, most high end cars (damn near all) use a design where the curve is on top (like the bmw). furthermore, xds have an exaggerated "bubbly" look. the key to achieving an attractive eyeline is not going to be copying another style (which is almost always the trend, and, in a case like this, that is, if it's a bmw style ripoff, it's going to look 100% rice). now, i don't know what style tnt is working on, but all i can urge is a unique design! looking forward to seeing this.

I sure can. As far as we know it's a custom kit. That's the only pic I've ever seen of that kit (first posted a LONG time ago) so I think that means it has to be custom, because every other kit that is out there we have plenty of pics from (from Korean sites like bobaedream). I always thought it look like a modified Ixion front with modified Zefiro sides.

Now, let's stay on topic with the eyelids.

i think what works well with the eyelids in that pic as how thin they are, i was picturing them being a good inch and a half to two inches high with tops and bottoms. is the plan still for top and bottom lids?

now that i take a second look at the bx kit and the one in this pic two things are clear...

1. they are definately not the same. but...
2. the bx kit is definately a ripoff of this one that was posted, they are VERY similar.

where did this pic come from anyway? my thoughts would be that this legit kit was korean and the company putting out the bx kit simply copied it.

i have heard before that korean companies dont like to sell to the us because we simply copy everything and sell it for less, why not offer officially numbered kits, you know serial numbers with a certificate of authenticity or someother official thing. i am really sketched out about buying ANY kit off ebay because, for example, there are like 10 people selling the EVO kit for anywhere from 250 bucks to like 600? something like that...

That bottom point should be between the high & low beams. It looks like it's just slapped on there with the point being in the middle of the low-beam.
