1.Start with these materials. (Beer optional)

**You will need a screw driver, a dremal or sharp knife, some glue, some time.**

2. (Optional step for blue lense) Remove sticker from bottle with HOT water and mark for lense.

3. Remove door panel.
here is what you will see when you open the light.

4. Dremel or cut out a circle for the Halogen.

5. Glue in Halogen and let dry awhile. Also some pictures of the bulb fitting

6.Put everything back together and you will see a BIG difference.

damn, that's bright enough to blind the oncoming drivers when you open the door in traffic!

seriously, that's a slick fit for those halogens, nicely done. how many watts to the stock wedge bulbs generate? 5? do the halogens get hot? any chance of melting the lens or the area of the cutout if the door is left open for a long time?

LOL, I almost blinded myself putting the lense back on. :hand:

No, they do not get hot, as they are 10 W. The package even lists them as a cold light?

Had the door open about 30 min no problems. Can't wait for it to get dark now.......(ca 1hr)

Damn, that's kinda cool looking with those Halogens in.......very resourceful TNT....you and your damn Prestone bottle plastic!! :thumbsup:

LMAO, what can I say, it's such a pretty blue...Thanks for the props.

These are much brighter than I thought. They are brighter than the rear lights. No need for hazards, people will know the door is open. hehehe
