Their Q17 model won in a shoot out at Toms Hardware
http://graphics.tomshardware.com/display/20030626/index.html

They also used to make a lot of chips for PC-100 RAM... They are everywhere at my office. I don't know if they are still in the semiconductor industry.

Hyundai is everywhere...

hyundai is a HUGE industrial conglomerate in korea, like fuji heavy industries (owners of subaru) in japan, mercedes benz in germany, and volvo in sweden. hyundai may be even bigger than the others because they also make things like electronics and ships, whereas the other huge conglomerates mentioned above focus more on machines like trucks and earth moving equipment. hyundai also makes consumer electronics like stereos, cd players and mp3 players.

I almost got a Mitsubishi Galant, just to match my Mitsubishi TV and VCR. Nah, just kiddin'. I just got back from San Diego where I stayed at a Marriott. Next door was a Hyundai building and it said Translead (http://www.translead.com/)

Hyundai is the biggest ship building company in the world. At the Ulsan ship yard they make more ships, and faster, than the next best company (which I believe is Mitsubishi). It's amazing really, but it's always a good thing. I mean, Hyundai/Daewoo/LG/Samsung are basically the only businesses in Korea, they make everything over there.

I also see a number of trailers (like from tractor-trailors) on the road that a re hyundai... they often have the slanted H logo on the mudflaps...

On the tractor trailers they should have the double triangle symbol. It's a green and yellow triangle overlapping one another. That is the coolest Hyundai logo around... maybe I'll rebadge my car...

Oops! (because I am at work). I went looking for that logo and found this (http://www.bmxbasics.org/images/hyundai.jpg) instead.

I probably see more of the Hyundai trailers than any other company on the road.

"fuji heavy industries (owners of subaru)" is actually owned by General Motors.
The reason I won't be buying a Subaru. :(
