the part where he talked about the influence of faith on his decisions also was completely incomprehensible. it made absolutely no sense at all.

I'm voting for Kerry, not because I like him, because I don't want Bush using any more of his power to make money for himself and the Saudis. I can't believe I voted for him in the first place. Al Gore is a joke though.

Both are a joke, the independents are a joke. There's not really a better choice than the other, just have to go and find the one who you trust the most.
Out of the choices, Bush is the one that I trust the most.

Can you really justify a vote for Bush concidering all that he has done to put this country in shambles.
The budget.. Blown... First pres. in 100 years.
Jobs.... Lost.... First pres. in 70 years
Cost of living has gone up more than normal, as average wage has dropped.
No child left behind may have been a good Idea, but it's underfunded making students and teachers lives VERY difficult (I have 4 friends that are teachers, of which 2 are republicans, but all are voting Kerry because of this)
His environmental policies are horrible.
It's just that I think Bush has shown how "capable" he is, and I don't want "more of the same". I would rather let someone else have a shot.
this is really my justification for voting for Kerry.
Back on Topic...
I thought Bush's dance around Roe vs Wade was great.. did he even mention abortion? Oh, and his schpeel about Jobs being lost, and NCLB being his answer. Did you hear what he would say to the guy whose job was just outsourced? No, education is how to help the person who's lost a job. Education is how to make sure we've got a workforce that's productive and competitive. Got four more years, I've got more to do to continue to raise standards, to continue to reward teachers and school districts that are working, to emphasize math and science in the classrooms, to continue to expand Pell Grants to make sure that people have an opportunity to start their career with a college diploma.
And so the person you talked to, I say, here's some help, here's some trade adjustment assistance money for you to go a community college in your neighborhood, a community college which is providing the skills necessary to fill the jobs of the 21st century. And that's what I would say to that person.
does anyone else think this sounds like he's saying we are unintelligent, that we need education to keep jobs? What does he take us for....

I didn't like Bush's answer to the job loss question. I'm paraphrasing here, so bear with me. He was asked what he would say to the person who just lost their manufacturing job to someone overseas. Bush said he would say "here, here's some money for junior college." WTF? Thanks, now my wife and kids will still be hungry, we won't be able to pay the mortgage, or any other bills... but now I can go to school! Gee, thanks pal.
That guy is an idiot. Regardless of what anyone says about Kerry, Bush is still an absolute F'in moron.

lol, I think I'd be a better president. Ive got a fiery spirit and could care less about re-election. goodye to all social programs, and defense budget. legalize drugs (and tax the F*CK out of them, and require liscences to sell them (that you have to PAY the govt for).
same deal with prostitution and other currently under the table transactions.
I'll raise the GDP and slash the national debt.
vote troy!

Life isn't easy - has anyone ever heard that saying? Does anyone BELIEVE that saying. I know sure as hell that I do.
Life is all about choices. You make the choices and you live with the consequences. I made the choice to work at my last job. I made the choice to try and get into a good position with the company. I made the choice to not branch out of my department. Which means that I accept the consequences of that choice. I did not finish college, did not continue much of an education, kept getting raises (did put a little away), and DID get laid off when the company decided not to have our division anymore.
What were my choices after that?
A. Wait and see what comes about
B. Start looking for another job.
C. Collect unemployment.
What do you think I did, I took option B. I found a job and received my first paycheck before the last one came in the mail. The job I'm working at now is not as good as far as pay, benefits, etc. but it is going to allow me to go to finish college (pretty much from the beginning).
If you specialize in a field so much that that is the only job that you are good for and it is outsourced - - - you do that to yourself. There are signs, and if you are too busy watching TV after work or going out drinking that you don't notice the signs then you are where you have put YOURSELF.
We have unemployment, we have tuition aid, we have food stamps, people are not going to starve unless they just want to. So you have to disconnect your Cable and Cell phone, so you have to drive your car a little bit longer instead of the new one. Big deal. I'm not going to cry a tear for you, if you need help, I will do what I can.
Kerry is nothing more than a filled chair on the Senate floor. He hasn't proposed any legislation, has hasn't even put his name on a legislation other than a vote.
My wife is a teacher also. Our anniversary this year we were able to go to Paris for a few days. She was also able to take a group of kids to Paris and London over the summer. The no child left behind is a garbage bill that for some stupid reason Bush signed, but it was written by Ted Kennedy (another filled seat in the senate, and both from Massachussetts (sp)). I've seen that bill in action and I hear about it constantly. But it was a sign of bi-partinship.
Bush may be an F-in moron, but Kerry is a waste of human flesh (IMO).
And Troy, if you'd kick the useless UN out of New York and make them HQ somewhere where they can make a difference, then I'd vote for you just on that prinicple alone.

Stupid meaningless debates. Nothing's as stupid and meaningless as watching your candidate answer unscripted questions, right? Because Baseball is more important than knowing what the President and his successor think on important domestic issues.
My favorite deceit (note the i and the e there, buddy) was this little back and forth.
K: "Yes. When the president had an opportunity to capture or kill Osama bin Laden, he took his focus off of them, outsourced the job to Afghan warlords, and Osama bin Laden escaped.
Six months after he said Osama bin Laden must be caught dead or alive, this president was asked, "Where is Osama bin Laden? " He said, "I don't know. I don't really think about him very much. I'm not that concerned. "
We need a president who stays deadly focused on the real war on terror."
B: "Gosh, I just don't think I ever said I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden. It's kind of one of those exaggerations."
Rewind to March 2002, as quoted on the White House website (http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2002/03/20020313-8.html):
Q But don't you believe that the threat that bin Laden posed won't truly be eliminated until he is found either dead or alive?
THE PRESIDENT: Well, as I say, we haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run. I was concerned about him, when he had taken over a country. I was concerned about the fact that he was basically running Afghanistan and calling the shots for the Taliban.
Gosh Mr President, you're full of crap. And you did get money from that lumber company (http://factcheck.org/article275.html) -- keep your wood.
If only the so-called liberal media would replay those quotes back to back the way they played the Dean scream, people might say things are in fact fair and balanced in the news.

Funniest part of the Debate was Kerrys analogy of bush and economics to Tony Soprano and Law enforcement
