I saw this parked at best buy and the owner walked out right after i took the photo. I asked him if he went to Hot Import Nights and he was like "what are you talking about" Then I asked if i could see under the hood because i saw the exhaust, but he asked what I was driving so i told him Avante XD and he was like "I've heard of it but I've got a twin turbo v6 and your car is only a 1.6 right"....me>"no its not 1.6" So i showed him under my hood and he screamed "Whoa you have a turbo!" and pointed to my sri....at this point I was like yeah thats my turbo can I see yours but he talked about having to meet someone and maybe next time. Does anyone else have a story of meeting a ricer in person?

i have one, i was with my friend in his Saturn SC2. All it has done is a "custom" SRI. (by custom i mean a stainless steel tube with a filter duct taped to one end and the other end duct taped to the throttle body. He has to change the tape every couple days.) Anyway, We were at a car show, just a show up type event (at a Burger King), and had the hood up. This guy comes over to us looks in the engine bay, says "I bet this thing goes fast what with turbo and all." my friend just said "Yeah." The guy said "that car over there is mine", and points to this rust bucket civic with stickers all over, spinner hubcaps, and had to be a 4in exhaust tip.

god i just had a big post, and i hit the wrong key...im not gonna retype it all tonight...basically, guy in my neighborhood i used to be cool with entered his del slo into HIN...it was 1/2 primered, and he took his honda rims off to put steelies on it...CornbreadXD, you probably saw it...as you went in, it was towards the back left...parked next to a white del slo with white rims...sorta close to the company that was handin out free cigars and blunt wraps...hahaha...he was passin out cards for his CF site...personally, if i saw a car like that in a show, i dont care how good the CF was, i wouldnt buy any...

then, i was walkin by, and he said somethin about my car or whatnot..so im like "HEY SHANE, NICE CAR!" and gave him a big thumbs up (all sarcastically) and he was like "where's your car at?" so im like "in the parking lot where those 2 pieces of **** should be"....

well i get back into town, and i had to go by his house to drop off the guy who went with me, and shane follows me down to this guys house, and tries to start some **** with me...talkin about "come down to my house right now and ill bet 200$ andrea will whip your ***" (andrea is his 300+ lb g/f)...he got out of his car, and came up to my window, so i rolled it up, and he tried to open my door...the whole time my buddy is standin on the pass side, waitin, caus he doesnt want anymore bull**** on his street...lemme see if i can find a pic of this guy...not someone i would want to **** with at all...

shane leaves and he was like "hes lucky he didnt try to hit you thru the window or somethin, caus i was ready to dive across this car and beat the **** out of him...haha...im not a big fighter, but this guy is, like 5'9 maybe 130lbs soaking wet...i know i could take him if i wanted...would have been too funny to see my buddy whip his ***...

as you can see from the attached pic, hes a big guy...prolly 6'1, 210lbs, all muscle...im glad hes got my back

i think the whole 1/2 primered, steel rim, CF tail lights, "dual exhaust" (on a 1.6L del slo with headers and intake) qualifies as a RICER....the rest was for entertainment

i posted a story awhile back about this guy...with an ELANTRA!! and his electrical supercharger and he was talking with his friend about how he spanked an svt focus....so i asked him to pop the hood...there was 4.5 inch pvc pipe everywhere!! i just laughed and walked away
