It's apparently been a hassle to see if you qualify for the new mortgage refinancing stuff. Not anymore.
Clark Howard recommended http://www.mortgagereliefonline.com/ to see if you are eligible for the new gubmint refinancing scams (taxpayer scam, good for the mortgage holder)
We qualify except we don't have a loan with fannie or freddie. Oh well.

DEfinately don't qualify.... house is worth more than we owe(market value $225k, owe $187k), our income is too high (~$5k per month), not with Fannie or Freddie....
Basically I am the one supporting all the deadbeat mofo's that bought a house they couldn't f'ng afford.
it says i am eligable but i duno how. mortgage is only 1/5th of my income

I'm with Bob on this one (did I just say that? )
Ugzz if you have your finances in proper order like that, you are one of the lucky ones benefitting from the current laws (vs. someone who didn't take the time to think about the long-term before signing on the bottom line). Take advantage of it if you can.

Ain't no big deal. I mean, I love obamessiah giving away my monies... You know, I pay my bills, don't have credit card debt, don't overspend on stupid crap.... I don't mind supporting the people that don't pay their bills, bought too big of a house for their income, up to their eyeballs in credit card debt....
I don;t mind watching him spend my hard earned money, then talk about taxing me even more. Makes me feel good to help the little guy. Soon, I'll be the little guy because they've stolen every dime I had.
