did the sidemarkers light up at one point in time? because i just put in my clear corners and i did some messing around and found out that both the bulbs in the original sidemarkers were either dead or weren't real bulbs. Never really paid much attention to if they light up or not.
ok questions i need answered is...

Yes, they do light up. They come on with the parking lights (you know, when you switch the light switch on one click). The bulbs that come stock are clear bulbs. All I did was take the new clear sidemarkers and use the stock clear bulbs. I've been driving around like that with them clear for almost two years now with no hassles from the cops.
You could also get "superwhite" bulbs or something like that, but I can't really help with that. I like the stock look. Good luck.
hmm mine were both dead....and my brothers xd sidemarkers don't come on either :-X they were all black and silverish looking when i took them out...thanx for the insight...i don't like the orange so i'll look for some clear ones at a home depot or something

If your sidemarker bulbs blew out you should have the "strobe blinkers" effect going on.
