I'm doing a house party, once I close that it. Still thinking about coming down this year Felix, I am limited this year due to the home purchase, so I don't know if I can make it to Canada. :(

I've been contemplating throwing an EXD meet at Lake Raystown in between lat July to mid August. It's good times there. Lot and lots of stuff to do.

Then I suggest someone, or several someone's get started on details, and something gets started. If those who have an interest need help, I'm available to help plan, coordinate, locate, and officiate. Damn, I rhyme good better best!

i can host something here in columbus, since i now have a house to have people at, but im not going to do much planning as i dont have an elantra. if people want to organize something in the columbus, oh area, central to quite a swath of people, im down. people staying at my place will just need to bring air mattresses or something to sleep on...i have 1 futon and a couch, so i can sleep about 4 people

Sick. Columbus I would drive down to no problems, it's an ok drive for a weekend. Further than Ohio though starts to become long...

The month of August is the best month for me to be doing something since July 28th is when my summer classes stop. If no one else wants to set something up, I can do my best to get something going.

Ohio is close enough for me to join as well. I'll bring the camera.

I think Felix is just trying to get some American no strings attached man love.
columbus would be swanktastic.
sean usually has the pgh stuff covered and has more room for sleeping than i do. (tiny essentially 4 room house). but i have a fair party setup in the basement. its an unfinished open ceiling crappy basement lol, but /w dj speakers and microphones hooked into a computer +blacklights, whiteboard, darts, beer pong table, futon, card table etc. its one small room with everything packed into it lol.
im also close to a school and playgrounds that may be available too
so if people are up for it and want to pack into my living/dining room on the floor .. then why not lol. i could do a gathering months before or after seans

rob - ive got a finished basement, 1250w 7.1 stereo/surround sound, and my BAMF boor pong table i just posted :) lol
but really though, if people want to start organizing, then come to me with dates/details, ill start checking around for some parks to meet at. i just dont want to put a **** ton of energy and time into it and have it be a bust. ill do a little bit of work, but this one would have to be a team effort
and incase anyone wants to look into it, my house is in zip 43231, and im <1 mile from Easton town center (google) and about 6-7 miles from Polaris shopping center (google some more). theres also Hoover resevoir ~3 miles up the road, which means theres a good amount of parks/space/water front

I wouldn't mind driving out to Ohio. Its been 4 years since I did it, but the drive wasn't that bad. This time I'd have to find someone to ride with me though.

A couple of us (Jared and myself) are going to the Woodward Dream Cruise in August. That's somewhere near Ohio. Maybe if it's planned right, we might be able to drop in on the meet (read: crash).:)

the woodward dream cruise is 3+ hours from columbus
i came up for that to meet with dave (2loud2k2xd) and this *** had me get off the exit 2-3 miles down the road, and i sat in traffic for 2 hours. **** that.

how about a meet at Evan's house every weekend
BColeman
05-01-2009, 08:54 PM
Evan, we wouldn't make you do that, we'd come to y'all...what's 3 extra hours of driving anyway.
evan938
05-01-2009, 09:07 PM
i was just saying, its not just a short drive...unless you're coming fro 8-10 hours away, then i guess another 3 wouldnt be horrible.
BColeman
05-02-2009, 11:14 AM
Yes Evan, that's exactly what I referring to. Jared and I are leaving his house, which is about 10 hours or so, maybe less, to the Dream Cruise. So 3 hours to a Hyundai meet is nothing, esp. since it's all friends that'll be there.

Acquaintances then...is that better smart ***?
Or rather, **** it, I don't plan to attend...there's far nicer people over this way anyway.

Is this sarcasm or are you guys actually 13?
BColeman

Well, not sure yet...if Evan was ****ing around, then it was sarcasm. If he wasn't, then yes, 13 y.o. behavior at it's best.

lol. i cant even remember what it was from, but it was jokingly
IIRC, whatever it was on, it was a couple guys going back and forth and went something like
"blah blah blah, pal"
"im not your pal, bud"
"im not your bud, friend"
"im not your friend guy"
