The normal highway speed limit is 55-70 MPH. Max speed on U.S. Elantras is about 114-117 MPH because of the speed limiter.

2/3 of all cars in europe are diesel!!! any car manufacturer who did not make a diesel motor available in a particular car model would have little chance of selling that car in europe. hyundai makes quite a few diesel motors in fact.

In addition, Hyundai has recently unveiled their new 1.1 liter diesel engine. It'll be used in the Click/Getz over there in Europe (and probably lots of other places as well).

With all the driving I do, I wouldn't mind having a diesel again... not to mention the price of gas right now....

I drove a 81 VW rabbit for a summer a few years ago, and even though it only had like 50 some HP, the 5-speed and GTI wheels (with wide tires) made it fun to drive....

Right now here diesel is more expensive than gas. Gas 1.99 and Diesel 2.28

Even if diesel is more money, the car will still get a higher MPG, so it's definately worth it.

The price is about the same around here though, $2.00 for either 87 octane or diesel.

i can't understand some of #11 #10 #9 but.. here the diesel is a few cheaper than 95-98 octane but only 20 -25 cts.
Here the petrol is all very much expensive.

U pay 0.40eur/litre.... Here is aprox. 1eur/litre
1 Galon is about 3.785 litres...

IT's fun to drive in general. i like drive.
