It depends how you attach the velcro... I wouldn't do it.

And, why do you want to put velcro on it? I hope not for some stick on type rice, ha.

what do u mean on how i attach it.... and what other alternatives are therr to velcro, that wont damage paint, but still will stick nicely

Automotive GOOP sets up good after about 1 hr. Then it solidifies making it like rubber. I have taken it off 2X after 6 months. Just peeled right back off, no harm to the paint.
