250 MB from Hotmail

I just signed onto my hotmail account and noticed that I now have 250 MB of storage. I never signed up for anything, I use to have 2 MB. Anyone else notice this?

Probably something to do with the fact Gmail has 1 Gig storage.

only 2mb here.... and they are gonna stop letting you check it with outlook/outlook express.... so I've just about stopped using it... switched to Gmail!

yeah MS promissed to increase the storage upto 250MB to stay competitive with yahoo, gmail, etc. by the end of the summer. mine went up about a amonth ago a friend of mine's 2 months ago.

Speaking of Gmail, does anyone know if you can use Outlook to check it?

i don't think there are any email clients that can check gmail. maybe someone will write one that can. but as far as i know, it's strictly web based.
