What does everyone think? Which cars do you like better?
FORDS...
Focus- eww.
500- Strange, I don't know if I like the back end or those rear side windows, they are really big.
Freestyle- Hotness, like most wagons. I like pretty much the whole thing.
Mustang- Again, hotness. Way better than the last 10 years of crap.
GT- I don't know, it's nice I guess, not my kind of styling.
Escape Hybrid- Good stuff. My brother is too excited about it (he's a Escape owner).
CHEVY...
Cobalt- Hotness, way better looking than the Cav, looks to be better in all departments.
Corvette- I suppose it's better looking than the previous gens, but still not something I like.
Malibu Maxx- I like it, except that ugly front end with that chrome "bar" that goes across it.
Aveo- I guess if you need to buy a cheap domestic then it's the way to go... I'd never own one.
Uplander- I'm not sure, there's not enough info on it yet. Strange front end though.
So, that's my take on it. I'm sure the rest of you have some thoughts. Feel free to post pics of these as well.

Yeah, I know it's a Daewoo. It's still sold by Chevy here, so it's still a Chevy. I mean, if you go to the dealership, they don't say "Come look at this fine Daewoo.

I like most of Chrystler/Dodge'sa new lineup, and little from Ford or Chevy appeal to me. I like the GT and Mustang, and of course the Vette will always be a great car, but their more practical cars and luxury cars don't attract my eye.

I'm impressed by both divisions new cars. Not all models, but look at especially GMs new offerings. Much improved interior design, and fit and finish.
I'm pretty much set on the 05 Mustang right now though.

I would never own a GM automobile after seeing how crappy their design, fit and finish and quality are. Bargain basement engineering at a not-so bargain basement price -- the Aveo costs about the same as an XD, and it's no competition in style, quality, warranty, equipment levels, etc. The Cobalt will only have ~200 horsepower -- what a joke for the amount of hype they're giving it!
Nor would I consider any Ford automoblie including the "Rustang" in spite of the plentiful high performance parts. Their engineering isn't too bad, but their implementation of it is sub-par.
In short, I would consider buying neither a GM nor a FOMOCO vehicle.
I also like most of Dodge's designs as far as shape, fit and finish and ergonomics go. Their engines and trannies have a habit of blowing up at ~70,000 miles, though. The PT cruiser is ugly, though and the new Chrysler 300 / Dodge Magnum's are uglier. I wish the Neon SRT-4 was nicer looking; that's about the only car I'd even consider trading my Elantra in for.

I grew up MOPAR.... and maybe I'm biased... but I think Dodge/Chrysler have some of the best-looking cars out there..... I LOVE the new Magnum and 300... and I was wanting a PT from the day it showed up in the auto shows....
I'd love to have the money to buy a 300C and pimp it out.... smoke ricers all day... and pimp all night... LOL
But.......
Until the domestics improve their quality, I'll drive something else...

Unfortunately, my favorites are the most expensive ones. The Ford GT, Mustang, and Corvette. Out of those, it's most likely that I'll end up with the Mustang in a few years.

The new Vette looks hotter than ever... and more ferrari looking than ever. I like GM and Fords european cars better, but then it would make too much sense to bring them over here. I know a couple are, like the 500 and the Maxx, but the universal platforms should be just that, everywhere.

Do you have pics of these cars? I never heard of the freestyle or the cobalt before. I did catch the new commerical for the 500, but I only saw the back.
The aveo is just the metro reincarnated
The corvette does look hot!

I agree, the corvette is hot, it's the only chevy I would own, unfortunately the only Ford I like is actually made by Mazda (Ford Probe) too bad they don't bring that back.

To comment on some of the DC thoughts. I LOVE the 300C (people that buy the V6 should die though, ha). The Magnum is ok, but I'd still take the 300C over it. The new Durangos and Rams look like eww. I love the Crossfire (I mean, it's a good looking version of an SLK 230). The only PT Cruiser I've liked is the one that has no rear side windows (like a conversion van) that I saw at the auto show, they should release that one.

FORDS...
Focus- eww. I agree.
500- I don't care for it.
Freestyle- Again, I don't care for it.
Mustang- Love the new body, and everything I have read on it is good (except when it shifts to fourth and above in the auto version).
GT- An absolutely awesome car, enough said.
Escape Hybrid- Nope, don't care for this one either.
CHEVY...
Cobalt- I think I will pass on this one.
Corvette- Another sweet car.
Malibu Maxx- It is just okay to me.
Aveo- Nope, not feeling this one.
Uplander- Not feeling this one either.
I will add the SSR- although it is impracticle, I love the styling and performance.
