I was going through some of pics saved on my hard drive and found some drifting pics of my friend's 240SX

This happend last summer 2003. The car was a total loss, he didn't even have it for a week.

I don't see how it's a total loss from the pictures, looks like just a little body damage. What did he do, bend the frame?

Since its an 1989 Nissan 240SX, the cost of repairs exceeded the value of the vechicle.

He bounced off 2 curbs. Total cost of damages, $5700

Looks like someone needs to watch a little more Initial D. Sucks that he totaled the car in less than a week, that was a nice 240sx

Oh, drifting is cool, this year at Hyperfest I saw a guy drift his way into a big tree, I laughed for 30 minutes afterwards, ha.

That sucks, but compared to the way the car looked, I think it'll be worth it to fix it up, atleast to a driveable state, then get the body work done afterwards, I mean how much time/money did he spend putting into the car only to give it up because it's going to cost 6k? But on the other hand, he could probably make the money back by parting out the car.
