On ramps....this guy is a moron!

ok...so i'm getting onto the highway today...and this mitsubishi 3000 gt pulls onto the ramp....i'm okay maybe this guy will move!....there are two left turns on the ramp and then a nice flowing right hander and then you merge on the highway....well he starts out on the bottom...and he s tarts moving...i follow thinking he is trying to out handle me....so i get up on him...and then on the last corner...doing about 60mph which is what the rate of traffic is moving at....and there is pretty much a clear highway....he starts to brake! :confused: ....i had my momentum and there was nobody coming so i go around him....so i gun it and get all the way over (2 lane highway)he looks at me like i did something wrong....what a d!CK!.....the on ramps around here are ridiculous....i swear nobody knows how to get on the highway...they come all the way to end and then stop! :confused:

I hate it when people slow down at the top of a ramp... looking for a spot to merge.....

HELLO????? It's much easier to get into traffic if you're going as fast as traffic!!!!!

yeah... it seems people think MERGE means stop and wait to get rear ended then join traffic on main road... i'm usually gunning it around people like that... no stop sign in sight and people stop or slow down to let people half a mile behind them catch up and pass them before they merge....or someone who slows to a stop at the end of the merge lane...then has to make a left turn to change lanes and join highway traffic.... dumb drivers...ahhh gets me all riled up just thinking about it....

I wouldn't call them assholes. It's just the fact that people aren't taught how to drive intelligently, instead they are taught to drive like assholes, ha. I mean, the drivers ed teacher doesn't say "Ok, now accelerate up this ramp and get up to speed to merge in front of these cars."

Another idea I have is that a lot of the people driving slowly/overcautiously because they don't have a license or they are in trouble with the law. I came to this conclusion when my license wasn't "valid" for a couple days (long story short - I went to renew my license, and since I had a ticket in the last year, I had to retake the drivers test, and in VA they have this Road Sign section and you have to get 100% and I missed the first one, haha, then couldn't go back to the DMV for a two days to retake it). So, during those two days I drove like a total piece of crap.

Just some thoughts about the whole situation. I agree though, these people need to learn that going 35 MPH isn't going to work well when others are going 60 MPH, uhhh.

every time I got onto the highway (with my step dad driving). he would yell and curse at the people who werent speeding up to get on the highway. so I usually speed up to between 95-100 on the on ramps now.

Today I almost got into 2 accidents while on On and off ramps.

First one I was making a left hand turn onto an on ramp, some blond made a right hand turn ahead of me and just as I get on the ramp, I have to slam my brakes because she decided to stop right in the middle of the ramp. I laid my horn and she starts waving her hands and pulls over. I guess she made a wrong turn and relized it, but she's too stupid to realize that she can't just back up.

The second one was on an off ramp where there are 2 lanes that get off, I took the most right hand lane and this guy decides last minute to get off the highway and takes the other lane, so we get close to the first bend and he decides that he wants my lane, without looking he starts to merge, I laid on the horn and he continued, I slammed my brakes, but if I didn't, I would have had him in a pit manuover. Once he's in my lane he waves at me as to say sorry. Jackass, if my 2 infant children and my wife weren't in the car, I would have let him hit me, then taken his *** out of the car and beat him sensless.

I want a loud-*** horn for times like that..... scare people when they screw up.... air horns are cheesy... but pretty damn loud....

i want to get the el grande horn they sell at auto zone,

at this one merge lane with about a 1/4 mile ramp, i can go on it around 40 mph(strut,sway bars, tires :D ) turning on it and everyone else goes about 10 or just stops at the begining,..... to many old people in FL

yeah air horns are the sh!t....there was a lexus, in town, that wasnt moving when the light turned green...and the truck behind him shot off his horn and damn near scared the crap out of him!! the guy was looking down so i guess he didnt realize that it turned...but he realized it real quick! :D
