that's not a real grill, i photochopped it, and what the hell is the point in reposting it here just to say you dont like it? anyway, conceptually it would have to fit in the place where the grill is, but it would be made out of fiberglass and painted the same color as the body, thus giving the appearance of a longer hood and a smaller grill.

I saw it and Gave my opinion on it, it would be a good place to get more opinions. is still an ugly grille. I do like the eyelids and the Kit is awesome

it's not supposed BE a grill, it's supposed to make it look as though the existing grill is smaller. i know everyone on this site is highly opposed to modifying their cars because they love the "stock" appearance, but personally i think this car is absolutely hideous. i would never drive this thing if it werent for the fact that i got it for free. furthermore, i think ilanpro is a pioneer in the sense that i have never yet seen someone create a new thread solely dedicated to expressing an opinion on a PHOTOCHOP. i guess my astounding talent warrents it.

i don't care if you don't like it, respond on the gt website and say that, don't spread your negative opinion here, i don't appreciate it and there is absolutely no reason for this. should i post new threads dedicated to how i don't like your car and just point out all the features you added and how ugly they are? no, and the response from everyone else would be very much against it, this is no different.

i had nothing to do with the kit... i'm perfectly relaxed, but the only reason this crap flies around here is because i don't know anyone. there are so many people on here with the ugliest crap on their cars like non functional hood scoops wtf? but you know what? no one makes a thread pointing that out because they are well known and chummy, no one goes out of their way to make fun of their friend if they know it might hurt his/her feelings, do they?

guess that reinforced my "superior skillzzz" statement. i am really surprised you didnt recognize the photo anyway from the gtwing website. i like small grills if you didn't notice, like on a lot of japanese cars silvia, skyline... etc, makes for a pissed off looking car.

if i actually ended up doing this it would look better... trust me, in fact give me a few minutes to try something...

looks a little better with some shine and a second eyelid...

the reason i actually cut that line at the top (the outline of the top of the grill) was because realistically i would be inserting fiberglass into that section and it would be visible, know what i mean? the other option is to simply make a new hood that extends lower and fabricate a grill the take up the gap... but that's much harder to do.

Actually, I like it. I have always wanted to do something like this, except that I would want it more lined up with the hood lines, meaning the grill would be a little bigger than what you have here.

The way you have it flows with the eyelids, so I think it works in that case.

i would never drive this thing if it werent for the fact that i got it for free. .

Personally, that makes me kinda sad.

Yeah great chop, I really dont like eyelids, but when coupled with that grille you got in mind it looks mean (as you said). As for not being mean to each other thats just one of those things, I work in a very hostile work environment I dont want to bring that attitude here. As for saying "oh thats not my style" sometimes that is enough, remember everyone here is there own person with different style choices, if you dont like it fine. But there is no need to go overboard. Remember what mothers used to say "If you cant say nothin nice, than shut the **** up..." At least thats what I was told

^^ Yeah you went a little far on that one. After you adjusted the grill on the first picture (which didn't include the line in the front) it looked a little better. I don't like the eyelids, it would be cool if they fit completly around the light. Just my 2 cents ;)

hahah, ricer (last photo). you dont know how badly I want to scream and call out the riced elantras...for that reason, I usually never visit the appearance forum.

I think that with that add-in made to match the lines of the stock hood, and patched and painted to look like it was all one piece, you'd have a good product.
